I was on [email protected], and I was reading this post about Ke$ha. Some of you may have already heard, but there was a dirty picture of her leaked. (You can't see her vag and she's covering her breasts, but she has cum all over her stomach. Not gonna show it because I am probably already pushing it a little with this thread.)

Anyway, in the comments, a lot of people were calling Ke$ha out on being a nasty, dirty, attention craving slut. Other people were telling them that they were slut shaming and it wasn't okay.

So, basically, slut shaming is when you insult or look down at a woman for doing things that would be considered slutty. You know, sleeping around, dressing provocatively and the like. Slut shaming is often tied into feminism and the fact that when men do this, they are apparently considered awesome, which is considered highly unfair in the feminist community, but let's not go there.

Slut shaming is preformed by men and women alike. (I would say it's more common when women do it. Women are so fucking catty.) It's kind of like the equivalent of calling a guy a wimp or a pussy or a faggot. Anything that makes him feel like a lesser member of the gender.

I don't really know how to delve further into this, it's hard to really explain without repeating yourself over and over. All in all, it is insulting/ridiculing/whatever-ing to women who have sex lives that would be considered more risque.

What's your opinion on this? Is slut shaming okay? Not okay? Is there a certain line you can't cross? Why?

Also, I am slightly paranoid that this might end up getting locked for not being exactly PG-13, but understand that it's not just sex talk for no reason.

If it looks like a pig, acts like a pig, and talks like a pig, than it's a pig. Calling her a slut is an understatement. In my eyes, if a man did the exact same thing he would be a slut as well. She went too far, how the heck do you think people were going to react? But everyone knew Ke$ha was trashy to begin with, so it really isn't that shocking.

I got called a slut constantly when I was 11 and virgin by 16 year olds. People like to use that word as an insult. Whether the person is a lut or not. Their buddies/friends kept calling me over since they thought I was their age (I "developed" pretty young and looked older when I was a kid) Guess some of the girls liked some of the guys that kept calling me over every time I walked by that market area. So they would constantly ask the guys "what do you see in that slut?"
Really disturbed me since I was just a kid who only cared about pokemon and passing the 6th grade. I assume they thought I was their age as well. I wonder how stupid they would have felt if they knew they were calling an 11 year old a slut.

I don't ever recall dressing inappropriate either.
Ah, I would love to go back into time and rip their throats open. But hey, what can I say? I was a kid back then and let's face it. Girls are jealous bitches. Oh well.

As for Keisha. Who cares? Artists are hard to figure out. Whether they did it on purpose, it happened by accident, we don't know them. All I know is that I hate her music, it's pure and utter crap. Yeah, people shouldn't go around calling others sluts when they have no idea how they are as a person. But w.e. Don't really care much when it comes to celebs.

Then why the hell do you bother posting? If you have nothing productive to say about the topic then don't bother posting at all.

Hmm well in my opinion although they dress up in clothes that are too flashy i don't think anyone deserves to be called a slut for the way they dress unless they really are sluts then that is different. I agree with Kippu girls are jealous bitches. I got called slut quite sometime cuz i was talking with the guys the girls liked -.-'' and i don't even dress up in a slutty manner as my parents don't let me -.-'

People should try and act more appropriate in public, there happen to be children in society too you know who are better off not knowing stuff like this, and trust me, them finding out is getting more common, and the degree it can change their personality is to the point where it's outright disgusting and very disturbing, so basically, it's not ok for either girls or guys to act shamelessly like that, period.

Personally I could care less about Ke$ha, but "Slut Shaming" as you call it is perfectly ok. If girls or guys want to act like sluts and whore for attention, thats exactly what they're gonna get, attention. Being called out on being a slut. Just because it's not the type of attention they wanted, too bad, they asked for attention and they got it. Their own fault. IMO I hate sluts, they're annoying, stupid and they degrade whichever gender they are so they more than deserve to be put down for it. And (at least this is how I see it) if a guy acts like a slut and sleeps with a bunch of women and posts naked pix of himself everywhere, it's just as bad as a girl doing that.

I presonally think what's her buisness, is her buisness.

I have no idea what truth there is to who she is and why.. She could just have a messed up life.

The person you really ought to be thinking about is the person who posted the picture, or even really took it. The world doesn't need to know what she does, and if you posted it/uploaded it/took a picture of it/, you're only bringing her down. She needs to get a new man is what she needs to do.

Back to slut shamming or w/e, everyone has their own opinion.

slut shaming is when you insult or look down at a woman for doing things that would be considered slutty.

Is it okay to look down on someone who acts like a slut?
Well it comes down to morals, so personally yes. You can look down on whoever you want. Insulting? Well, she did put herself up into a celebrity position. She has to know that if she's in the spotlight, not everyone is going to love her.

However, I try not to presume things about people I don't know. So when it comes to celebrities, all I know for sure is what their actions tell me.. and right now all I can think is that she puts her trust in the wrong guys.

Regarding the first part of your post, this is pretty much what's going on to my knowledge. I wouldn't take it as fact, but here ya go.

There's a guy who's alias is DJ Stolen. He has done some shit with celebrities in the past, like he hacked Kelly Clarkson and exploited some other girls.

Ke$ha, as far as I know, had her boyfriend take the picture, and was alright with it? I don't really know, I'm assuming she was. I am not that far on the ~inside~. Anyway, somehow, this DJ Stolen guy got his hands on it and posted it up because Ke$ha wouldn't give him a shout out.

Apparently he has other dirty photos of her, too, but since she ended up giving him the shoutout (right here, around 0:10), he said he wouldn't leak them. I heard a rumor that they already got out somewhere, though, and eventually they'll probably end up leaking. Turns out he has photos of Lady Gaga, too. But he isn't going to leak them either, apparently, because she also gave him a shoutout.

I don't know. If I'm being perfectly honest, I don't like Ke$ha, I think she tries a bit too hard, I don't like her style of music in the slightest and I resent her for mentioning wonderful flawless gorgeous etc Mick Jagger in a song of hers, but whatevs, I think that's kind of messed up.

Never been called a slut before. I call others a slut though lol which is wrong still. I shouldn't judge, even though it's blatantly obvious that someone is being provocative & whorish. I don't know much about this Ke$ha person except her music is equivalent to Miley Cyrus and other terrible so called musicians.
