The best trilogy is The Lord of the Rings. Everything in that movie was perfect in my opinion. The scenery, characters, action, romance and the ending left me with a tear on my cheek. "My friends you bow to no one". The music is also amazing in the movie. The director 's cut is such a treat as well. Well what does everyone else think because my opinion isnt the only one that matters?

Hobbits-shmobbits...
Matrix is the best! The third one was actually pretty so-so, but visuals are still stunning.
Lord of the Rings is obviously a great trilogy, just not my kind of a movie. But it's super.

I would say that the Godfather Trilogy is the best because of the first two; haven't seen the third one so I can't say that it is. LOTR was a great trilogy, same goes for the Back to the Future and the Original Star Wars. Matrix, i would say, isn't nearly as great as LOTR.
