I'm a pretty big fan of Crunchyroll, and I love the business model. However, I don't think it's fair that people (such as myself, who is from Australia) pay the same price when we have access to fewer episodes due to regional/licensing restrictions. I've recently come across a whole bunch of anime that I can't watch because of this.

I'm a paying non North American member too. So I'm curious, what are we missing? As premium members are we getting anything more (selection wise) than non-members, apart from better quality?

I wish they'd abolish the whole region this and that licensing (I'm not blaming Crunchy here). It discriminates against the rest of the world, where most shows will likely never get licensed in the first place (nor later for that matter).
They should have a Viewable All over the World license rather than a regional one. They'd get more moolah too, I'm sure.

I'm paying from Hungary, and I can't watch some anime too. It's really annoying, so pls CR Stuff try to buy the license for all over the world. And I love CR too.

Yet another anime released that I can't watch (MORIBITO). Would be nice if admin could at least respond to this issue.

Don't be too hard on Crunchyroll staff as this is an American streaming site primarily targeting North-American viewers, the rest of us are just "optional", that can only watch the videos our own countries allow us to watch.

Imagine the poor Crunchyroll staff attempting to steamroll the world in anime streaming but are stopped at the border by mysterious stranger X: When asked why they cannot stream in that country the stranger replies that for no good reason whatsoever can you stream that show here because it is licenced by some passive corporate government-connected company that may want to make money too but aren't because the people who could make a difference do not care because in the end, most people import their stuff from abroad anyway since local alternatives are either overpriced or have too poor selection beyond Pokemon and Bakugan.

This is how the corporate world works.
PS: I raged a little too when I noticed there were tonnes of shows not available but calmed down when I realised my own country was to blame.

sorry if I do not understand, I use google translator

I also I have the same problem (I'm from Argentina) and understand the problems of the licenses but must be fair to make us a discount, I particularly want to pay the membership of anime (which I have to do on a cellphone and I get more than 10 dollars for the whole issue of cell phone companies) but having such a limited service (less than half of the total series) is really disappointing.
