With the US making a few movie based on Japanese drama's and anime/manga, is there an American drama you wanna see turned into a J-Drama? For me, it would be the start of my favorite couple storyline from a drama that came on at 10 am, here in the US

hm I do have a few shows that might work for the Japanese:

Sons of Anarchy: change the outlaw motorcycle gang into Bōsōzoku. But keep the story the same. Change gang like Aryan Brotherhood, Real IRA, and other gangs into Japanese street gang, and Yakuza.

The Sopranos: OK, I know Gokusen is probably close to that. But I think The Sopranos could be adapted for the Japanese market. The Japanese remake will have Yakuza replacing Italian-American mobsters. The story will be the same but I want the character to be portray in the Japanese way like how does a Yakuza mob and their life goes through.

Law & Order: SVU: Tokyo: OK I realize that Law & Order has been adapted for other countries. UK adapted Law & Order, France adapted Criminal Intent, and Russia remade SVU. So why not adapt SVU for the Japanese market. I have read many stories from Japan about child abuse, molestation, and sexual assault. I haven't heard of any famous rape in Japan.

Deadwood: Samurai genre and Western genre has often been compared. So why not adapt Deadwood for the Japanese market? Just change the setting from the wild west Montana to maybe somwhere in ancient Japan and replace gunslingers/cowboys into samurais.

Crash: I remember reading about race issue in Japan. I thought why not portray this issue to the public and show the Japanese audience race issue in Japan. I know there could be racial tension in Japan probably similar to those in US. I thought about having Crash (the movie) being remade first and then remade the show after that. I like to see these remake happen.

You know I thought of TV show that could be remade for the Japanese market:

Kingdom Hospital: The TV Show was a remake of a Danish TV show, The Kingdom (or Riget in their language). I like the plot for that show, and I find it unique. I think this show could be remade for the Japanese market.

The L-word: Because Japan has a huge amount of yaoi anime/manga and Yuri anime/manga. I thought why not adapt The L-Word for the Japanese market. It could connect to Yaoi and Yuri fan in Japan.
