QFT. I love that series.

I don't think humans are an exception to the animal world or the laws of nature. If the population doesn't level off it'll crash when the resources are gone, just like other animal populations. Life will go on. To think, at this point, that humans are some sort of pinnacle of existence is just well, you need a minute in the Total Perspective Vortex.

Why do we seek to understand so many (things?)? Lately, I've been leaning towards my understanding of some of Albert Camus' work: we create meaning for life in the struggle to find meaning.

If anyone ever asked me this in real life, I'd beat them.

Live life. Find happiness. Your own.

That's really all you need. Don't think too much.

why we human need to understand so many?
because we want them to understand us ourselves. there are also sympathy and empathy factors.

why should we live if we alive only to destroy mother nature?
we know we'll die someday, destroying mother nature is one of ways we have to strive status, money, fame, and life itself.
destroying human nature might be one of reasons for human to make themselves better.

what should I aim for if I am an exceptions from animal world?
sry cant understand this question '__'

we live everyday think everything and now what?
do u want to live or not? living should give the meaning of existence in ur surroundings. get urself happy. if cant, do u still want to live? are you afraid of death? well thinking about everything has no end and it kills time.

I think life is really much more obvious than we make it out to be...I think there is a veil which overlies the otherwise very easy-to-reach truth of it. In other words...the meaning of life lies in what you see around you when you have no mental blocks or preconceptions governing what you will make of it. The natural world, its laws...that is life. I think the reason that this is so hidden, the fabric of which that veil covering the meaning is made, is simply that humans like to think that they are superior to these laws. We are not necessarily exceptions from the animal world as much as we think we are. People need to have a cushion of security in many cases, seperating themselves from what is naturally around them in an attempt to glorify or exceptionalize themselves and make themselves feel 'superior.' One can see this in action when people say that humans are at the top of the food chain. We are absolutely not...a human can become easy prey for another species like a lion, a crocodile, a shark, the list goes on. Especially the humans caught in the brainwashing vortex of the corporate grind are no match for the real world, even though they'd like to think they rule it. It's the ultimate hypocracy, but one we are all guilty of, or at least have been at some point. It's human nature to do this, and overcoming it - or at least realizing it - is just another facet of the same thing.

Life is this form of existence fearful of death and desiring of fulfillment. It's very sanctity is in what living beings hold to be precious. What is defended and nurtured for growth makes life significant to those that live it, and to deprive something of its right to live while pursuing what it wants is a terrible thing, unless another living being had to make the choice to use another life for its own survival.

Life is simply life. You take it or leave it as it is and instinctively support what makes it worthwhile for you. No one can tell you how to live, and you might never fully understand your own motives.

^ @HalfBliss: that's got a lot of insight to it...i like it. I agree with you on the part about not taking lives, it just doesn't do anyone any good.

life is like an ice cream. Enjoy it before it melts <3

we should accept life for what it is, and not think so much about what its not. We should be happy with what we have and not want more. Well that's my philosophy at least.
