You may have already noticed a new button on the video player but this enables Continuous Play Mode which causes the next episodes in the series to automatically load and play. Though, this currently does not cause the video to stay in fullscreen mode since the next video loads in it's own page.

In this picture, Continuous Play Mode is enabled which is what the Orange color signifies.

Is there NO CHOICE in this? I was on latest BLEACH episode and 3 SECONDS after it ended, I got jumped to ep1 of another series. Excuse me but I write comments after watching an episode, it's rather hard to when get blipped to another episode that fast. And what if I had wanted to rewatch it the same episode? It was too difficult for people to simply go to the next episode?! Sorry, but this new feature is extremely annoying.

You have a choice. If you do not want to use it, click the Continuous Play button to disable it.

Orange = Enabled
White = Disabled

It's a decent feature, but I won't be using it.

Also, I'm not sure about others, but when I'm marathoning a series I always skip the ED, no matter how good it is (whereas I always watch it on weekly series). That alone limits it's usefulness.

i assumed that button did that but thought i had to enable it myself so when i tested it out it didnt do anything. lol. but as llamaben stated, i don't watch ED when marathoning. So unless there's a cute clip of something at the end (like in Reborn or Naruto) the button is useless.

I was watching Lilpri episode 1 this morning and when it ended i went to work and forgot to logout. When i came back from work it had played all the way to episode 11! (it got stuck there for some reason). That was a waste of bandwidth. I think it should be off by default.

And another thing: After finishing Asubi ni Ikuyo the player came up with the idea to play Hanamaru Kindergarten. Countdown finished, and there came the infamous "not available in your region"-message. It would be nice if the player takes the region restrictions into account when suggesting a series.

However, it can be useful when marathoning a series.

Oooh, so that's what that button does!! I did the same as Ryuichi-momiji and was left wondering what it was all about!

Same as others, I also skip EDs when marathoning, so the feature would be useless for me unless that particular series has short endings (like Triple, which only shows clips of upcoming scenes in the series).

Nifty feature methinks, though I have to agree with koningdavid for it to be off by default.

Awesome feature! This makes watching series a lot easier. If you're up to date on everything it doesn't really help you, but for a series you are watching from the start, or even a few episodes behind, this saves a lot of time.

Thanks for implementing such a great feature! Is there plans to implement a method to keep fullscreen? I notice you say "currently does not cause the video to stay in fullscreen mode", so I'm hoping there will be an eventual time where fullscreen is kept.

You guys need to make a feature so its skip the ending, endings are usually only 1:30-2:00 long so just make it skip the ending and make their a way for it to stay on full screen, youtube has a way for it to stay on full screen when it changes videos I think this should to

I don't mind the continuous play, and in fact would sometimes enjoy utilizing it, but I do not particularly enjoy being automatically redirected to another series if I have just finished the last episode of my series. I can understand attempting to expose users to new shows in this manner, but I for one can be picky about the anime I watch, and I dislike having shows thrust upon me.
Would it be possible to add a setting to a user's profile to disable that particular feature of the Continuous Play button? I have no idea how difficult such a task would be - if it would be troublesome or time-consuming, then please, by all means, dismiss my request as unimportant, for it matters little to me in the end.

so as I read on the comments above the great majority thinks is useless and don't even use it and we all also agree that it should be off by default if you want it to work just activate it but again as I read here most of us agree it should be off by default

to be sure you guys should make a poll asking the users what they prefer off by default or on by default see what everybody really thinks

I too was getting tired of getting hijack, hell, I thought the orange button was to replay the episode. I gave it a shot, clicked on it and it did turn white and stop jumping to the next episode.

Since the changes, none of the buttons on my screen work now. I can't change the volume, pause the video or resize my screen. The continuous button isn't active at all (even thought it's orange). Not really happy with the system throwing me into another video after the first one's finished.

Still like the service but I may not be on the site as much as before....
