i agree entirely. it's how i was brought up and raised. i just got into an argument with some guys on youtube who take it to the next level of social retardation who think it's just as bad (they used the word "shameful", which in itself says something about the people) for a man to hit a man as it is for a man to hit a woman. you don't hit a girl (*excluding the punch-buggy and permissible rough sex). it's just not right.

i feel no shame punching the man who smashed my headlight on purpose. i would if i hit a woman, but i wouldn't hit her anyway. i'd find some way to make peace with as little bloodshed as possible. which was the main point i was trying to make. chivalry isn't dead just yet, but some people want it gone.

don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with switching gender roles, like a man who wears a dress and likes other men, or a girl who likes girls and wears boys clothes. but just because the body doesn't match, the gender roles are still there.

and a completely non sexist mot with no sexual nature of any kind. (seriously. i just thought it was a cool picture, and just kept editing the words and it somehow became a naughty mot. )

If there's a person five feet, a little before two meters, behind me, regardless of species, I would go inside and lightly hold the door from there, and let the door shut there or let them take care of the next person.

I would hold the door from the outside if the person was carrying something. It would be too douchy to do otherwise.



As for your story about "conquering the world", which was pretty funny, I do something similar when someone praises me. The dialogue goes as such.

Someone: Thank you very much. You are awesome.
Me: I know. You don't need to tell me something that I already know. *laughs*
Someone: *chuckles*
Me: *still laughing*

Also, I waive my arms like a Spartacus victory and/or bow when someone announces my name over the PA system.

@zen - nice. i was too moddest back in school to do the stand and bow when called over the intercom, but a friend once took a bow, (called to the secretaries office for a phone call), and i started to clap and got a cheer going that most people didn't even know what they were cheering for.

also, may i have that raw please? i may be a lolicon, but i know a nice set of curves when i see one.


@zen and taronini - oh, don't get me wrong, i hold the door for nearby people or people carying stuff, as it's just what you do, but it's somehow different for a lady. even if i'm not closest to the door, i will make sure i get there first (usually) and hold it for a lady or a person carrying heavy object.


@taroni - i just read your status and finally get your prof.pic. (thought it was a person eating a burger. sorry, i have bad eyes.)
