/AMP/'s Greatest of All Time
Who do you think is that one?

With over 10,00 pages here, and like a couple thousands on the last ones, I'm curious to see who this thread considers greatest, lack of a better word, /AMP/er of all time. I think that this entire thing as a whole is like turning 5 years this next year, so it's not like something new or something. Going back to the topic. Who is that de facto user that has the best overall performance? In other words, if you had to pick that one user here as the undisputed champion of this thread, who would it be?

Keep the following factors in mind:
- Quality and quantity of mots and posters
- Be a major factor in the shifts and turning of the thread (i.e. controlling the chaos and fixing internal problems)
- Contribution in the interaction and flow of the thread
- Activity, presence, and memorable-ness
- Has somewhat of the respect of the regulars here (old ones and new ones)
- That someone who /AMP/'s past, present, and future can be grateful for- time tested.
- Humility as in putting the interest of the /AMP/ over their own thread agenda

Make your case to who this person is.

This can only go well :P

also, definitely not me, I only post mots when I (hope) i have a really funny one

like this one...possibly my fave of my own mots:

@His Flyness

Zendude's the most obvious answer since he's been with pretty much all the generations of /AMP/ers; he's got an advantage over the rest of us because of that. But I think the most memorable contributor to this thread is Smaragdos -- this inhuman being whose origins may be that of extraterritoriality and on par, perhaps even exceed, the power of Elder and Outer Gods. My words cannot describe him so I shall borrow a speech from long missing fellow /AMP/er, Lemurengineer.

My theory is that he's a celestial being spawned on a distant planet in a galaxy far far away, where he was discovered by a SERN mining operation around 80 years after their takeover of the earth and when they begun to scour galaxies (bit like Mass Effect but w/e) - The mining operation accidentally cracked open his lair filled with Sakuya Aizawa merchandise. Open being discovered he was convinced by SERN (using powerful voodoo) to help them destroy a time anomaly which manifested itself on a website called "Crunchyroll" in the early part of the 21st century. This time anomaly was interfering with SERN's plans of universal domination and is more commonly known as "the graveyard shift" - The being known as Smargados The Devourer of Galaxies and Smaller Cosmic Occurances Which Are More Commonly Nommed on was then sent back through time to destroy this anomaly once and for all..

But... This entity must follow the restrictions of the time period, Smargados The Devourer of Galaxies and Smaller Cosmic Occurances Which Are More Commonly Nommed on could not destroy this anomaly without outside help.. for if he wanted it to stop entirely on it's own.. then he would be Breaking the Rrrrrrruuuuules by double posting (and nobody likes that). To counter this, Smargados(+longtitle) would post even when the Shift had been repelled, this act of posting intrigued and spurred the local filthy inhabitants of this "Crunchyroll" and inspired them to band together with the celestial entity and destroy the Graveyard shift once and for all!!!!

To be fair, I've been on the topic (posting semi-regularly) since around page 200, but I don't post a huge amount of MOTs because i am perfectionist.

well, to me it's between Zendude and Smaragdos, the reviver vs the innovator.

zendude has pretty much been here since the very dawn of /amp/. he has helped revive this thread, provide some quite inspirational speeches(or text in this case lol) and some very good comedic mots.

Smaragdos has been posting here since the beginning of 3rd amp, and is probably one of known figures here. he's provided many different different ways of posting on /amp/ (creating templates that people got hooked on).

if someone ever had to ask me to give a recommendation to who they should look for, it'll be these 2.

on an unrelated note

Alright, I need help, does anyone know how much of the novels the anime series Durarara and Bacano cover each?

well Durarara covered the first 3 novels, but I'm not sure about Baccano, not to mention the creator of both also has a third series, Vamp!, that hasn't even been animated yet.

Great so I don't have to track down volume 3!! Vampires huh? Fantastic just what I need....
