And (sadly? luckily?) it's true. At least for engineers. You learn all that stuff at university, like calculating the right parameters for a system to be stable, and out in the field it's usually just trial and error  Most Whovians are probably more subtle than that. Or just not bold enough For example, I recently discovered that a guy at our local hackerspace has got the TARDIS landing sound as message-ringtone on his mobile. It's the sub. As far as engineering, I didn't go to post secondary, but I know how to fix tractors and other farm equipment simply through logic and trial and error. Also It's how I learned how to fix most of the problems that occur with the machine I use at work. As far as Kino's journey goes, you could try right stuf or amazon. Seriously, though. The dub wasn't that good.  |
