I kinda agree with that.

I guess the charm of a small close community is why some folks keep coming back. Although, there are better place for things like that, mostly ones that makes you feel like you're being blasted with things that most here doesn't see fit or just plain annoying.

Small talks are fine, like that "War Economics" a week or two back, and the mods have allowed that; I have a precedent for that by the way. Though, like what the mods say, this place is mostly suppose to be for Anime Motivational Posters and not some blog, nor a personal thread, nor a link thread, nor some kind of social networking site, nor something that's it's not suppose to be.

But hey, someone has to ruin it for everyone. Thank him for messing a couple of things for everyone already.

I don't have a smartphone either. I'm still stuck with my G3.5 Nokia phone (I want to show you my current phone, but it's not anime-related LOLZ). My Mom promised to get me an iPhone since my birthday and I'm still waiting patiently for her to fulfill her promise. And I want that to happen because it's the first birthday (now late-birthday LOLZ) present or any present given to me that's not: a) Clothes, b) a cheap @$$ watch, c) a pen or d) a cheap @$$ perfume bottle!! In other words, a legit kind of presents! Something I really want!!

I have a smartphone, just not as new or hip as the iPhone. Plus, I dropped and cracked at a party because I was like super drunk and using it as a strobelight on the dance floor. I already wasted my upgrade and have to wait til September so I don't have to spend like $500 for a new phone. Those are what probably attributes to my kinda psuedo-jealously.

Don't get me wrong, my phone is awesome and really useful for what I do, which is pretty much play games, scroll /AMP/ when I'm outside with 4G, text, and call, but iPhone is like a watch status like symbol to hip. Though, I'd probably end up with a Korean made phone on my next buy, which is most likely the Samsung Galaxy S whatever.

I look at the iPhone as an object of lust. It's pretty, thin, and sometimes useful, but somehow, the Korean's stuff are much more sexier and more usefuler and has more holes to play with. "LAWL"

Also thinking back on my earlier birthdays, my parents only mostly gave me cash as a present. It's easier that way anyways, and probably because, I never really asked for much except for cash. Well, I thought that it was thoughtful for letting decide what I want to get. "LAWL"
