No effin' way!

Its true...
Almost.
There were only two that didn't entirely fit the bill:
Angel Beats!, they had windows on both sides. And Puella Magi Madoka Magica, those class rooms where just plain weird

@Xylrot
May I join your club for unnecessary research now?

Other patterns...

The protagonist (especially in shounen) sits back of the classroom by the windows (then the transfer sits back there with them). Who knows why??? I thought there was one on eye patches being all on one eye, but I was wrong, though it isn't 50/50, more like 2/3rds.

In anime they never draw the moon right. I've never ever seen it drawn correctly when it is crescent.

I've been curious since anime is highly conceptual if certain psychological patterns emerge that present themselves... if only they can be found. For instance, the following is from an article on patients who have had their brain hemispheres separated/cut for various reasons...

"The ability of both hemispheres to reproduce a picture. A patient with severed connections between both his cerebral hemispheres was asked to draw the cross and cube seen in the middle of the picture. Despite the fact that he was right-handed, he was almost entirely incapable of reproducing the pictures with his right hand (which is controlled by the left hemisphere), whereas he was able to do it relatively well with his left hand (which is controlled by his right hemisphere).

In short, with his studies on commissurotomized patients, Sperry has achieved something that was previously considered almost unattainable: He has provided us with an insight into the inner world of the brain, which hitherto had been almost completely hidden from us. With his discoveries of the specialization of both cerebral hemispheres he has given us an entirely new dimension in our comprehension of the higher functions of the brain."

I don't think there is any hard and fast rule, but I think just as most cultures read left to right etc, scene creation might also have handedness. I could be wrong but it seems that usually the Object is on the left and the Direct Object on the right. If you have two people kissing for instance...

Google: "anime episode kiss"

It works for other things

Giving Information ---> Getting Information
Boyfriend ---> Girlfriend
Stronger Fighter ---> Weaker Fighter (can switch in the middle of fight for come back)

BUT if your dominant character is the protagonist and just getting a beat down for being stupid or perverted they still tend to be on the left because they are the main character.

I could be completely wrong... but it's kind of fun to check out....

Well I'm enjoying it, kind of reminds me of medaka box only FAR less annoying with its conceitedness so I can enjoy it more, so expect some mots of this series from me for a while...

Probably somebody deleted a post in between. It might have been a simple mistake. It happens.

Regardless, a friendly note has been left just in case. There's no need for anybody to make a big deal out of it.
