...Aaaaand /AMP/ drags me back yet again after months. Just went to Katsucon on Sunday with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Couldn't go Saturday, though, and it bugs me that I missed getting my Haruhi Novel #1 signed by Crispin Freeman.

I did manage to pick up Monster Hunter Portable 3rd ($45) and another import game though.

Said other import game being Spectral Force for the PS1 ($25). They said it was used, but when I took a closer look, it was still shrink-wrapped. I thought nothing of it until I unwrapped it, took the case out of the cardboard sleeve, found that it still had the plastic wrapping with "Playstation" written all over it, and the concept art/character relation's poster was still there, which I had had no knowledge of. Anyone willing to hazard a guess as to how big (or little) of a jackpot I hit and damaged?

Did I seriously cap a page on yet another "return?"

So there was a comment on sankaku(I'm not sure if people use this site), that said most anime harem leads are gay...

I'm actually staring to believe this, if you think about it, there is no reason why all these women just flock to one guy. Then if the guy is homosexual then all the girls just feel more at ease, this logic somewhat applies.

I have seen plenty of harems there are only a few that have had the balls to actually do something.

All the harems I watch now, I say to myself " just fuck her seriously"

Take this with a grain of salt, this was mostly a joke.

The best harem animes are the ones where the studio actually made an effort to make the show interesting while finishing with a legitimate choice at the end of the anime, rather than I DUNNO WHO I WANT bullcrap. Think of it...clannad, shuffle, toradora, etc.

Since most of them are adapted from VNs, it's hard to create a coherent story that actually covers all of the routes decently while ending up with a single end route. Due to the difficulty in putting this together for the studios, some just don't. That's when they suck.

These days to be any good at all its either
1. make it a drama anime where the guy actually makes a choice
2. make it a comedy anime where the goal is not relationship development but its chilling with a bunch of interesting girls

The ones where they try to do drama but no real choice is made makes me want to punch the makers of it at the end of the series.

or... the ones where the protagonist is striving for a harem those are good
