One more thing since you are watching Index II. The Daihaseisai arc (episodes 8-13) is known amongst the fandom for being a weak arc due to the fact that the adaptation is overall poor, and the animation quality decreases as the arc goes on (JC Staff probably siphoned off the animation budget onto the later arcs which were adapted and animated very well). As such, I thought I would warn you to go into it with low expectations so that you can at least enjoy the arc.

I know I'm not the one being asked this, but I thought the arc had a good Idea and concept and all...it just felt like it streched out for too long and there was a mood dissonace/whiplash with me. I haven't read the novel version of this (I just began reading after season 2 and plan to reread arcs once I catch up to NT) so I can't say about what J.C. staff did adaption wise, but year the animation sort of fluxuates a bit at parts (for me its worse on the last arc)...

By last arc do you mean Academy City Invasion Arc or the last two episodes (SS1)? If so, episode 23 had poor animation because of the tsunami. It looked fine in the preview, but the actual episode had poor animation due to damage to the studio. I'm sure that the need to make up what was lost led to a rush job.
And about Daihaseisai's animation, look at (spoiler bars to hide from SHINOBI)

Now, I don't have a problem with the arc overall. It was enjoyable, but many other fans disliked it. Plus, it kinda was a low point to the series in my opinion.

By last, yeah the last two episodes (SS1) and I had forgotten about that *now I feel like a dick... :sweatingbullets:*

I believe may people say the second season is where the author was scrambling around to get the story where he wanted to and got everything together by vol. 13 (second to last arc) so it was mostly a low point season in general, but like with the arc I got some good kicks out of it, not to mention I honestly perfer the character designs here than in season 1 which offset my eye on the animation during my inital viewing (and here I am trying to be an animator... )

Nothing like an episode of squid girl to rid a nasty headache and lack of motivation!

so I have 2 questions for you guys

what experiences with dance have you had so far?

and

have you enjoyed said experiences?

I can dance to anything, but I only actually know how to dance Salsa, merengue, and pasodoble. Also, even when the music sucks all kind of ass, I also know "perreo" pretty well... you don't live 3 years in Venezuela and don't get anything from there... LOL
yes, I enjoyed it very much. It was lots of fun.

though I might not be able to do it much now...

today I just took a thorax radiography and it's not looking good... since I was born, I had a very weak respiratory system, and it's been damaged gradually over time. I always knew it was going to happen eventually... and that's why I was so fond of physical activities and such (also singing). But I didn't think it would be so early... The damage to my lungs seem to be such that I won't be able to do any heavy physical activity now, and I can't be outdoors too much. You know that kind of thing that you somehow knew was imminent, but still were hoping it was a mistake or a lie, and when it comes it still destroys you... I'll go check to the pneumologist tomorrow to see if some of the damage is reversible, and what will I be able to do... of course, there are some givens to this, I can't drink alcohol anymore, and I'll need to be extra careful because I will not be able to afford another heavy infection, but that seems like nothing compare to what giving up exercise means... I always fight and try to be as optimistic as possible, but this time I can't help but keep my hopes as low as possible, maybe as a defense mechanism or something... Still, JD sad...

well, I can at least play baseball... I used to be a pretty good pitcher. Knuckleballer, of course. LOL

That's true. Season II up to episode 17 is a low point for the series and meant to develop the necessary elements before going into the plot.
