Maybe I should consider applying to medical school in California...never was much of a fan of the snow. I like the rain a lot better....

That's at least the sixth time you said that according to the search time, and that's at least the fifth time that wasn't followed through. Although, I bet there were some that the search didn't pick on because it felt a lot more than that and ever increasing. So, ummmm, yeah.

@ loli
Nearing under 55, I become sluggish. The cold around this area and a lot of the areas where I work a lot in is piercing, dry, and a lot of wind for almost weeks. It just beats the person up and gets them really tired with trying to fight with it for even just a couple of minutes.

As for heat, I can deal with around 95 easy because that happens straight at a time in the summer, so it's easier to get use to. My work room is sometimes a stream box when I try to save electricity.

Aside from two months of real summer heat and the piercing dry windy desert cold, the rest of the year is just awesome. Basketball shorts almost all year long. "LAWL"

Something:

highest we got last summer was 37, which is a bit under a hundred, i think. my whole family just stayed in the basement all day and slept.
then again, we get some days where it's so cold, even us canadians can't do much outside,45 below is much colder when you factor in the winds with no trees around our yard.

Because Canadians melt. "RACIAL_LAWL"

As for the cold, the wind is what does it; probably regular cold is fine, but high wind is usually what I associate cold with. We have this account for a mega grocery store in the middle of nowhere that we have to clean at the same times of the year, and it's right there where the damn wind tunnel. Funny thing is that we do the cleaning when it's wind season, the time of year where the weather is changing because air molecules and shit. Being on top of a building with that much high wind and piercing cold while taking care of equipment that's hella hella heavy and hella nasty isn't really that fun; it goes on for at least 8 hours. praries.
no hills, open fields, cold snow. the wind is like freakin' sledge hammer of ice.
it's not bad at work, because the only outside area i need to go to is blocked by two walls, but at the parents farm, you may as well be naked.
some days, the wind is strong enough to knock you down harder than garland.

i hate the wind, but i love it as an element in fiction

bawled my eyes out at the end of ep 11 of chu2.
just sayin.

Sad part is, that's how the application process works. Apply everywhere and send out your apps three months before "official deadlines".

I think tomboys are kinda my thing... I'm dating this girl right now who is really fun to be with... I mean, our dates so far have been watching Gangster squad, me teaching her how to play guitar and playing Gears of War (seriously... and she's good... LOL) It's also way better when you don't have to pretend to be interested in girly stuff.

I hear that sir. Although if she is "one of the guys" she must have something that makes her girly side show. For my gf if she hears Phantom of the Opera she geeks out and swoons. She sounds like a blast to be with.

males have it harder when it comes to getting accepted into med school

males have a penis between his legs...

it is a sad fact

there was a woman with a 24 mcat *lower than national average* that got into med school

the reason was she was a single mother since high school, how med school admissions tell people is that grades are important in the initial weeding, but well she got in
