The cold around this area and a lot of the areas where I work a lot in is piercing, dry, and a lot of wind for almost weeks. It just beats the person up and gets them really tired with trying to fight with it for even just a couple of minutes. We have this account for a mega grocery store in the middle of nowhere that we have to clean at the same times of the year, and it's right there where the damn wind tunnel. Funny thing is that we do the cleaning when it's wind season, the time of year where the weather is changing because air molecules and shit. Being on top of a building with that much high wind and piercing cold while taking care of equipment that's hella hella heavy and hella nasty isn't really that fun; it goes on for at least 8 hours. "HATE_THE_WIND_LAWL" praries. no hills, open fields, cold snow. the wind is like freakin' sledge hammer of ice. it's not bad at work, because the only outside area i need to go to is blocked by two walls, but at the parents farm, you may as well be naked. some days, the wind is strong enough to knock you down harder than garland.  i hate the wind, but i love it as an element in fiction  bawled my eyes out at the end of ep 11 of chu2. just sayin. |
