You finally finished Index Old Testament, huh. What did you think of the ending for it? Man...you're slow on this ain'tcha? The news has been out since mid-February.... Since everyone else has told you, I won't repeat... Considering that it will be adapting Volumes 4-7 of the manga...I doubt that there will be as much teleporting-lesbian rape as last season. You finally finished Index Old Testament, huh. What did you think of the ending for it? Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I'm somewhat mixed, but for the most part I liked it. I think I mentioned this before, but I kinda got spoiled at the whole "Touma 'dies' " deal at the end, but I thought the way they had him 'go out' like a baws was nicely done. I also liked how Accel's redemption piece was written it'll be interesting to see how he acts now, and Hamazura pretty much displayed how enjoyable it is seeing someone with little to no power totally turn the tables on cocky mofos....and speaking of which... the mixed part comes from (aside the fact that I was kind of spoiled) famina as a villian, since in the end he was just on overly pessimistic chicken shit with power, yet at the same time it was very satasfying seeing his plans crumble at every possible angle, and not just from Touma either. "the world dosen't need to be saved from a jackass like that" indeed. While I expected Touma to let him live, I didn't expect F'in Alister of all mofos to come in and totally rock his shit. Even though its supposed to be the 'end' it feels more and more obvious that the author had MUCH more instore for this universe, which I like. Lastly, Biribiri... while I was a tad disappointed she had to get distracted by that darn nuculear missle, that last bit at the end with her trying to save touma really made up for it. I don't think since one piece have I ever seen a scene that seemed so random and out of place, yet fit perfectly anyway and leave you with the sense of heart break afterwards. Touma had to do what he had to do, and I respect that, but damn. That said, I wonder if before Index's consiousness came along if Touma ever CONSIDERED trying to make it out alive. Its a dark thought and I really have little proof but when he made that promise that he WILL be back, it was written to make me think that he was ready to die trying to keep the fortress from falling on a town. Overall, I found this to be a fitting end for this part of Index since the core of both Touma and Accel had been shaken up quite a bit and Hamazura's stroy was overall an enjoyable one, I'll be looking forward to seeing these three progress in NT and acctually meet! ![]() No, I don't know what the 'BIG BAD' evil or anything is or any themes, I wasn't spoiled that badly. At some point in time I plan to do an overview of the whole first part of index, but I'll wait a bit til I get around reading some LNs of the first two seasons, since I began with the novels after season 2. But frist is NT! then DRRR! then Haruhi. then spice and wolf(?) THEN those novels! |

Sometimes you can't make it out if you are the stupid one or the everyone else is...
Got in an argument with others on anime video file sizes... they claim some anime video files are higher in size than others due to it's production (animation frames, effects, colors, etc.) The more animation an anime get, the more frames it needs and thus a bigger video size. While I say all of that doesn't mean anything and the video size depends on how the raws are recorded of TV and which format the subbers use for uploads and sharing. You be the judge on this case. ![]() |

Bear with me, Awesome dream I had last night:
Okay so I must've been some kind of badass, the dream was set in some random wasteland not unlike the ones in fallout games. I lived in this one town that was starting to get attacked by monsters and raiding parties. Somehow, it ended up that everywhere except the places to eat were attacked, so people didn't have anywhere to work and didn't have any money to buy food. I thus went and fought a green nargacuga subspecies in the center of town to fix this issue. Upon beating it the raiding parties were scared shitless and ran away. Then I roamed away from the town to find another place to help. But it didn't end there. I found this department store that had barred its front doors, I somehow got inside, only to find it was a group of innocents trying to prevent this evil group from taking them on as slaves, and they were running out of food within the store that was possible to eat. The group of slavers ended up coming to the front of the building and sitting themselves down there, waiting for the innocents to have to come out. It was at this moment I burst through the front doors and (somehow, I don't remember what I did) kicked their asses. Then I woke up, but was like hold on, I want to continue this crap, so I tried going back to sleep. Unfortunately I didn't get to continue that dream, but I had another one. I was Tomoya from Clannad and I was going to Nagisa's house. For some reason she was living by herself. She was really depressed because she just recalled having lost this one white balloon that her parents gave her as a child. Her parents had passed away, so she was fond of keeping mementos of them. I asked her what happened to this white balloon, and she told me it was kept in a packing facility that was protected by armed guards in order to prevent people from stealing their shipping goods. Of course, I was like "I will retrieve it". So I went to this facility (she somehow knew exactly the map of the facility and pointed out where the balloon was LOL). The facility was odd, it had singular walls on the outside of the facility, with many openings. 5-10m long walls that were parallel to the facility. They had guards patrolling in between these walls so I had to stealth around them. The building that contained her balloon wasn't accessible except from another building internally, so I had to enter this one boiler-room sort of building, with reddish stained metal parts all over the place. In this building, there were only distinct paths to walk on, so I was bound to encounter a guard on patrol. At this point I was like screw it and somehow got a submachine gun and champed through guards on the way to the door to the second building. I think I died a couple of times and respawned outside, so I was ready for what killed me the next time (at this point I was like wtf is going on). When I finally entered the second building, I saw it was some giant dynamo, and was like why the hell would they need a reactor of this sort for a packing facility. Then I retrieved the little white balloon that was tied to the side of one of the reactors. As soon as I got it, I heard HEY! from behind me. I turned, and to my dismay, it was Nagisa's dad, in a lab coat. I was about to shout out a questioning remark, but he pulled out some device and my mind went black. When I woke up, I was laying with my head on Nagisa's lap, and she had tears in her eyes but a smile on her face. I had no idea how I got there, but I was holding a white balloon in my left hand. She just said "they aren't gone...", then I woke up. |
