I laughed so hard my family asked if I was alright. Only you could make a masturbation joke funny, my friend. Only you.

You flatter me.

Eternity isn't over yet!

Well, it surely felt like it. But it was only a bit over two years I was here.
And it turns out I'm already home.
An eternity isn't what it used to be.

Now That I think about it, it's exactly the opposite. With the microscope you move the slide because the lens is fixed on the machinery. With the camera you move the lens, which is way more sensitive. Nice work, my little cute kohai. LOL Though there's nothing quite like the human eye. The Ciliary Muscles are quite the impressive technology.
also a question: are there cameras with a micrometrical focus control like the microscope? you know, for when the camera is fixed on a stand.

As for anatomy: Netter is always the way to go. I used a book written by an Argentinian dude whose descriptions I liked, and complemented it with one called Latarjet, but both of them are in spanish... Still, the best one will always be Netter, and the morgue. That's how I learned the brachial plexus. Moore will work when you're in clinic anatomy, not descriptive, Gray I've always hated it, so meh, I just don't like Gray...

there's also this one which I used quite a lot:
http://www.accesssurgery.com/resourceToc.aspx?resourceID=203
ask your school if it has a password for it, if not, I'll lend you mine (even though I kinda shouldn't, but I want to help you out)

oh, and do you have a password for NCBI? You're no longer allowed to do any research in google anymore. That's kinda like the entrance to the scientific community.

Yeah, microscopes and cameras are kind of the opposite in how they work, usually. I sometimes make cameras work in opposite to get a better view. I move the camera as close as possible while maintaining focus, or if I can move my subject, I do that. Whichever is more suitable. Also, no, there are no micrometric focus control thingies, we just have big round focus rings on the lenses.

Never heard of Netter, but after asking around, it seems like there's some local books that might be suitable for me so I guess I'll use them.
Also, apparently, it seems like most of our teachers are teaching right out of KLM and Grays so maybe using those would be more effective. i do like Gray's. KLM is kinda stupid though...

Also, we don't do research as part of cirriculum at my uni although you can if you want, but I'm not really into that...

Sadly, my connection is just horrible to Riot servers... so many lag spikes all the time... can't even get kills in bot games. sigh

Sorry, no MOT this time.
