7th Doctor: Excuse me. What's your attitude towards the nature of existence? For example, do you hold any strong theological opinions?

Guard: I think you'll find most educated people regard mythical convictions as fundamentally animistic.

7th Doctor: I see. That's a very interesting concept.

Guard: Personally, I find most experiences border on the existential.

7th Doctor: Well, how do you reconcile that with the empirical critical belief that experience is at the root of all phenomena?

Guard: I think you'll find that a concept can be philosophically valid even if theologically meaningless.

7th Doctor: So, what you're saying is that before Plato existed, someone had to have the idea of Plato.

it's basically saying that even without a god of some kind who created the universe, they exist for one reason or another, and they must exist because "i think therefor i am" .

even if i'm just a thought in someone's head. that someone exists. or if he's just a thought in someone's head, somewhere along the line, there is something thinking all of this up. which means that according to plato, or whoever it was who thought of this before plato, i can say that my friend Ochie really exists. (assuming she thinks she exists)

i liked ratattosk. i didn't like the gameplay of DotNW and i didn't like not being able to pick your party leader aside from marta and emile, but it was decently written for a sequel compared to some other games. also alice was hot.

not sure who the other is. looks somewhat familiar in an "i've seen her" kinda way, but not in an "i've played that game" kinda way...

Not a Star Trek fan? Then you might actually enjoy the new movie.
It's a good movie. It just isn't a good Star Trek movie. I liked the first half. The shakey-cam and lensflares are toned down, you can actually see the special effects and the inside of the Enterprise looks like a starship. The jokes are good. The story is okay.
And then Benedict Cumberbatch's character reveals his real identity and everything falls apart. Yeah, they steal names and plot points (loosely) from a much better Star Trek version (I won't tell which one) and it makes no sense because the characters don't have the backstory. *RAGE*
But to the films credit it's not as bad as Star Trek 11 where the villain sits around for 25 years not doing anything. And I actually thought the villain in this film isn't the villain after all. For 10 minutes. Well...

Standing on its own Star Trek 12 is enjoyable. But as a Star Trek movie in the whole continuity it's just bad.

I don't know... I know Star Trek is huge among the media culture and had a great impact, but I don't see myself turning to one.

So... you still don't know what I'm going to watch, alright then, I'll tell.....

SHINOBI-03- you can watch what you want, as long as you don't categorise "those sparkling shit" vampires

can't say if that's expensive or not but 30,000 yen ≈ 300 USD. It'll have to depend on where they are going.

For a standard field trip a cost of 30,000 yen would be considered very cheap (bare in mind this counts for travel, room and board). The context of the anime shorts though it is darned expensive for her (considering she has to spend her life with an over-spending older sister)
