How dare the make a movie for little girls actually have cartoon girls in it!!!

More like how dare they deviate so much from the original creator's concept and alienate it to the point of making her leave the show's production!! Apparently Hasbro knows how to handle the franchise on their own and don't care how true it is to its nature as long as it's profitable even if it ends up destroying the show for good! If she's not satisfied then what guarantees her fans will like it?

well as far as we know it is only Twilight and Spike that are in this ALTERNATE UNIVERSE.
Meaning this AJ, RD, Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy (and any other cameo characters) are not the ones you and I are us to.
heck if anything this whole movie could very well be counted as Non-Canon, and thus it won't ruin a damn thing.
It's just Hasbro making money and now we have an actual model of how the ponies look as humans instead of basing cosplay models off of fanart.
Mountain out of a Mole Hill I say.

For me personally, I think I'll be able to sit through it just fine if it has good songs.
I'm not one for High School Drama movies, but when Vampy dragged me to see High School Musical 3 in theaters a few years ago I was able to actually sit through and enjoy it because of the songs.

Maybe it's due in part that hasbro is sick of hardcore bronie sexualizing the ponies and embarrassing them. They knew turning the characters human would piss off the neck-beard fandom greatly and also push them not to watch the movie. It's quite simply really grown men going to watch a cartoon about ponies =slightly awkward, grown men going to watch a cartoon about tweens=creepy.

Now please keep in mind none of this is aimed at you, i'm talking about the hard-core of hard-core bronies that want MLP ona-holes and fap regularly to their favorite characters. Okay I best stop now before I tick off a few people >__>.

Well all I can say is I have enjoyed yer Posts, but it will be sad to see u go. I would strongly recommend tho u stay away from that garbage. Had a friend of mine forced to watch the first 2 Twilight movies with her Mom and she went into the Kitchen and Slit her wrists when her Mom told he she had to watch the Third. I read the first book and was Praying for some mad wizard to come wipe out my memory so I could forget that crap.

Didn't want to admit it, but I saw part of the first Movie left the Theater Screaming at how horrible it was.

Well fudge nuggets...

Capcom USA's Senior Vice President, Christian Svensson explains the reason why.

Sorry guys, but a physical release is not in the cards.

Historically it’s been tough to attract long term retail support for Ace Attorney titles. With the release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies we wanted as many people as possible to be able to enjoy the game for as long as possible. With that in mind we have opted for a digital only release via the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

I understand that this decision may upset fans who wanted to have a physical version of the title to add to their collection but we believe this direction is the best to take.

We will be confirming details on the price point in the not-so-distant future which I hope will also shed more light on the strategy at play here.

Okay.... just finished the first movie... how's my brain?

Call me crazy, but... I thought it was a good movie. Didn't see anything worth the fuzz out of it... maybe it's in the other movies, but anyway, I didn't think it was a horrible movie and it's watchable.

The vampires, while they sparkle like diamond under the sun, thought they had cool abilities. That ball game didn't last long, but I thought it was fun to see a vampire family play like normal people... with the except of super strength and lightning timing. And the climax was intense. I thought James was going to kill Bella's parents and we would get a sad ending, but I guess it's not time yet. Can't wait to see what's Victoria up to.

As for the romance...... I'm not sure I'd buy it or not... I saw superhero movies with similar romance so it didn't bother me that much. HOWEVER, Bella is started to get on my nerves at the end. Really? After all that and endangering her life almost dying and about to lose her family, and she still wants to be with Edward?

So I repeat: the first Twilight movie is not horrible, it got some issues, but not enough to ruin it for me.

I conducted your Twilight experiment on the books; I made it about 80% through the first one before I was no longer curious about what all the hype was about and returned it (hell, it was practically worth it just for the looks I got as a 24 year old male checking out a stack of twilight books at the library - that was hilarious).

It was basically a middle-aged woman's PG13 sex fantasy, a category I'll be happy to avoid in the future.

I understand why that kind of thing is popular, but I'd much rather give my sister The Fault in Our Stars. So I did.

"Scheme" is a strange word if you think about it too much.
