Forgot to ask: Are you using 2-D or 3-D? I'm familiar with the 2-D but never took any 3-D classes

Everything that I've had to do for work is all 2-D, altering blue-prints and what-not, but when they handed me the program and said "Play around with it, see what you can do." I sure as hell wasn't gonna pass on the chance to play with some 3-D modeling.

The main problem I was having was prepping it for printing, I was trying to convert it to a PDF so I could send it to the printing company, but the page would become super blurry. What I ended up doing was grabbing a DWF viewer, converting it to DWF instead of PDF and everything was golden!

Oh AutoCAD 3D. Worst 3D solid modeler of what I've used. It is amazing for 2D though.

And for the contest:

Link and....Rinoa???
Someone refresh me on who that is.

Rinoa Heartlily, I think is her last name. She's the female with the dog from Final Fantasy 8.

As for me... Cloud and Lara Croft? Well, if you give Tifa handguns, then I guess she resembles Lara. Great, my video game parents started from a rebound relationship.

And now for the elimination contest...

Kyuubey wanders in to an apartment looking for contractors and is mistaken for an emergency food ration, and is devoured by a starving Excel Excel, and the leftovers are fed to Miss Hyatt, who's in need of proteins due to her anemia. Rumors of Menchi luring Kyuubey to the apartment are still being investigated.

spoilered for one eyed cuteness

Is the English translation of title: Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! really "Regardless of My Adolescent Delusions of Grandeur, I Want a Date!"

I know the answer is NO - Chunnibyou is a social stereotype that doesn't immediately translate to a single word

When people usually give out some kind of personal disclosure here, it's usually the usual that's to be expected from the audience of such. This is from ranging Anime expos, school, some kind existential crisis, angst, personal problems, work, accident, tragic, getting your first boner, and such. With the exception of JDRV, whose awesome would probably be more than most's awesome week, nothing really jumps out. There's nothing wrong with this of course, but sometimes, you guys may want to hear something different.

With this, I'll give you folks a look in the world of zendude.
(Here's a long ass wall of text for you to enjoy.)

Everything started Saturday afternoon. This is just another gig for me, and this is pretty much a normal back and forth of what I do in some weekends, if not every weekend now a days.
One point in being a photographer is being able to do things at work most people don't do. At the gig at Saturday, I was hired to take pictures for a baptism. I know. I know. A baptism might not sound the most exciting of events, but I bet a very few you have been to a Mexican baptism. To add, this was not even set at any fancy ball room or church; this was at the backyard, a small dirty, nasty looking and smelling backyard. But from what I've learned from my experiences with these kind of clients, these are usually the ones that I have the best time at.

In the celebration of their daughter's entrance as a Catholic, they had a live Mariachi band, awesome food, and of course me.

Long story short, I was taking shots while I was taking shots. In translation, I was pretty much partying with them, dancing, eating, and taking their pictures. I got paid for all of that and a bit of tip.

Moral of the story- If people are offering you free food, alcohol, and a good time, it's just plain rude if not offensive not to enjoy yourself and to entertain them and their notion. Pretty much, I do this a lot and already have a good script on how I'm going to approach the situation. Yes, it does sound silly to have a battle plan for a party, but hey you know, you gotta maximize your good time within reason. "LAWL"

*Also, this lady keep calling me Chinito, Chinese boy. I'm not Chinese nor even look relatively close, but I didn't care. Hell, it was funny.
*I can't move with that high of alcohol level, so I pretty much was knocked out in my vehicle that night.

My alarm clock then rang four hours later, and then Sunday rolled in.
Looking at the windshield, a fun night reflected back. Though, that fun didn't really agree with the next thing, the Knotts Berry Farm Bridal Show. Shirt being stained with both carne and tequila, I washed my face at the local convience store and then exited out buying some cheap colonge to hide the smell of tobacco from my pants. With a change of shirt from my overnight bag and a shot of five hour energy drink (generic), I head towards the third happiest place in Orange County.

I was actually pretty early at the venue because the gig where I was last night was just like one exit away. Even though my movements were sluggish, I was able to set up my booth even before some of the other vendors who had help.

There displayed on my booth my work for the last couple of months, just out there for the some to be wedded to judged and probed and decide whether they want you for their special day. You would think that you would have some kind of pride on your spread, but when you see how these other vendors show their stuff, you can't help but think that you could have done more. Think of the kid who worked on their science fair project like there was no tomorrow only to be out schooled by some rich kid who probably paid for their presentation.

Though, that didn't let me down. My drive wasn't tailored to the higher end events but for the people who just wants something, and that something is a good enough quality to remember their special day without spending too much. Well, there's a market for everything.

While manning my booth, there was this model in a gorgeous wedding dress walking down the aisle, no pun intend. Without hesitation, I took out my camera and started to take pictures. Let's just say that she noticed; it's kind of hard to ignore a guy with a long lens pointed at you. She approached me, and I was trying not to get noticed because of one of the rules of the show is that you can't take pictures unless you're one of the approved vendors. Well, she finally got to me, and I couldn't ignore her any longer. I turned around not to find a smirk but rather a radiant smile. She asked if she can see the pictures. Now with a not so pretty smile on my face and eyes still probably red from the night before, I gladly showed her the pictures. After a couple of exchange of words and contact information, and maybe a little filtering, she went to set out her walk on the rest of the aisle.

The next hour or so, I dealt with possible clients, some are interested and some are not. There was a couple of booking inquiries and actual bookings, but that's to be expected. A little after the afternoon, I went to take a small break to eat. Out at the porch, enjoying my sandwich, my phone rang. I looked at the screen to see who it was, but it seems it was somebody I didn't know since the caller ID didn't take. Maybe it was a client that just saw me, but nevertheless I picked it up because I didn't want to be rude. I said "Hello", and a sweet sounding voice said "Hello" back. I didn't recognized the voice but it felt so familiar, and so it was. The model who I have met several hours ago is asking me to shot their runway walk for her and her group because their photographer didn't show up. She was actually looking for me at the vendor room but didn't find me because I out to eat some lunch.

Knowing that an opportunity like this doesn't come too often, I took on the job. Well, it wasn't so much a job but rather a good way to expose myself, and I did just that. This of course leaves my vendor booth empty, but if a wedding dress company likes my work, I think investing into this is a good way to make myself known a bit more. So, I took the pictures and showed it to them, and they loved it. Now time will only tell on how fruitful taking that calculated risk is.

- The rest of day was also fun too.
* I take some more pictures of people getting baptized, Christian this time. It not as exciting as the one in the story, but it was still pretty neat.
* The Eagles and Giants game was a nail biter.
* Dexter was just EPIC.

I was then woke up several hours later to help clean something at an industrial plant.

And now I'm here just giving you guys an idea of what I do.
So there you have it, that's a look in the world of zendude.
