Hi!

This is my first post on Crunchyroll, so I thought I'd introduce myself with a couple of mots from the Bakuman manga.

I hope I am doing this right...

time for a wall of text to responded to your list!

10-Hidden Magic Eye

how has it become a joke in the naruto fandom when only 2 characters have something covering their single sharigan eye?
must other eye-patches recently were used because the character can't turn off their eye, like how X-men's Cyclops can't open his eyes without a beam coming from his face unless he has special made glasses over them. when you can't control the power, best you can do is try to cover it, plus it adds style points.
plus an eyepatch in the real world isn't always covering in injury. Pirates used them for night time raids as well as looking tough during the day.

09- Caucasian-looking Leads

it sets a their main characters apart from others, namely background characters in the same series. so if the lead is in a crowd of regulars the audience can pick them out.
also they are bright, recognizable colors that you can actually find in a real person, Japanese or not.
that or maybe creators just like the color scheme.

08-Last Moment Dramatic Rescues

Rule of Cool and a tension building technique.
As for when Naruto said "A real hero always arrives right before it is too late!", that's just the young and brash idiot trying to be cool, plus timing is key in both looking cool and doing magic tricks.

07-Male Bashing

1. it's funny. 2. it shows how weak the guy is. 3. challenge for the male to overcome if he wants to bed her.
for the violence of the girls, it's usually a knee-jerk reaction with an amount of success some people wish there was in the real world.
"if you are a nice guy and take the beatings then you will also get a bunch of hot chicks fawning over you."
it's the chance for nice guys who can't seem to get a girl to live vicariously through and nice guy anime character.

06-Useless Female Protagonists

healing and shielding ARE good powers, and they are to balance the usually straight forward brawlers that the lead guys usually are.
the girl also usually acts as the moral anchor/compass for the lead guy.
also they are the usually used for plot points and to get idiot heroes to go somewhere/ do something. like mario.
kidnap girl is an old dynamic that still holds true today in effectiveness.
as for the bad cooking, it's also a challenge much like the physical bashing earlier. suffer the cooking to get the girl you love. also it gives the girl something to possibly get better at with some character development should she get it.

05-Unnecessary Fan Service

it's simple. it's easy. it works.
it's a way to ensure an audience.
it can be used as a bit of comic relief...if done right.
also.....Fan Service because Sigmund Freud Was Right.

04-Magic Tears

is that optimus prime in the start on that digivice thingy in that first image set??

*ahem*.... ok let's see.
drama but that leads to a revival of hope in the children.
for Optimus' death, that was planned as a way to move the series to a next generation and bring in more characters, but they ended up HAVING to bring him back because the backlash about his death was so great. as such good ol' optimus was made to live again.
for Mufasa's death that was a story point to help simba grow. and also it was used because the story is a slight spin on Hamlet.

now for pokemon. you have monsters of all shapes and sizes that can cause all many of natural disasters and rain destruction down on all mankind if they wanted to, and yet you are calling BS on the magic tears?
one other thing, since the anime was just begining, people were use to Ash, Pikachu, Misty, and Brock, so the audience back then was attached to them all. if they had let Ash die right there, then chances are the backlash would of been like the backlash from Optimus' death years earlier.

03-Shouting Your Attack Names

Rule of Cool. Yelling Equals Power. Psyche Up yourself and teammates and Psyche Out opponents.
Funny Attack Names. Yelling Distracts People. Comedy.
and silly characters like Hak Foo.

02-Cheating Death

there is a difference between not killing anyone and killing off 90+% of the entire cast. I think that guy you praised at the end is the guy who made a giant robot series that ended with the lead robot going nuclear and destroying the entire galaxy or what ever. you saw children get shot in the head and some get skin melted off!
it also depends on the kind of series it is. it's easier to wipe out a mass of characters when most of the cast uses giant robots and colony drops. it's much harder in a battle of blade vs blade or fist vs fist..
as for One Piece, Oda lulled his audience into a false sense of security. and it has paid off a lot better then Optimus' death as previously discussed.
Dragonball got worse when we got into Z with spamming the Dragonballs to fix things after almost every arc.
With Hiyori getting cut in half in Bleach, that was for drama and to make us hate Gin and pray that Hiyori can be put back together.
With Naruto and the Slaughter of The Leaf, that was, again, to make us hate the opponent and want Naruto to just rip him apart, but since the message of the series is Anti-War, Resolution Through Peace, etc. Naruto managed to control himself and show that hate would get them no where, and that more lives will be saved with peaceful resolution than with a revengeful slaughter of the other side.
Now with the Edo Tensei technique used by Orochimaru and Kabuto, that adds horror and sadness to the story. reviving Asuma, Granny Chiyo, and other characters we and the cast knew and had formed bonds with. You feel elated to see old friends again, then the agonizing sadness and horror of having to fight them again. And the dead are in agony as well. They thought they had peace in death, but now they walk the earth again, and are being forced to fight loved ones they had said farewell to.

01-Explaining Your Plan To The Enemy

Badass Boast.
get's your fans pumped up, and the author then has a chance to crush that hope when they make the opponent outsmart the other guy.

in the, while these are cliches, we kinda need them at this point.
without cliches, we wouldn't have much gag anime/manga like Gintama.
to make a good joke of something, it has to be well known by the audience the joke is for.
if the audience is well versed in anime, then the easiest jokes to make are the ones based on cliches.

Well, I wouldn't say great. Content would be a better word.

Though, I'm still aiming to do better. I actually admire the lab work, medicine, and interacting with people. I hope, and still hoping, to get a career out of those, but in reality, my window of opportunity isn't as wide as some of your guys' despite even having a really great portifolio and a pretty stacked résumé. Maybe the Lord just has something better for me or just maybe different. I don't know. So as of current, I am this "freelancing bohemian", and you know what it isn't so bad so far. Hell, I've been pretty lucky, and that's something to be grateful for. Additionally, I still have my legs, hands, the original factory parts, and a body that can carry itself at a pull up bar more than a handful of times with added weights, so I can't complain. "LAWL"
