HeX64 wrote: You show-off! (Also did you know that "I Am Curious (Yellow)" and "I Am Curious (Blue)" are names of movies? Because they totally are.) There's a point of obscurity that just doesn't really translate well. A man can only play the game of association for so long that things just get too muddled in the blender of whatever culture and translation and all these stuff in some kind of grayish goo. I try to go for the pop and general style as much as possible as it allows for a wider range and easier pivot points. Those totally are movies, but those are totally out of my radar. This goes back to the point being that some points aren't that easily connected, especially when some points aren't there. "LAWL_LAWL" Something: |

The Last Comer is actually a Fan-made game made by Danmakufu scripts and it`s not TH14.

ZUN I had heard that he was going to get the demo in December, but since there has been no but I have my doubts. _. I see there is a Touhou difficult this year ... and there were 2 music CD, but the artbook Symposium of Post-Mysticim to sack earlier this year, and I think I read in some co Zun comments of this very reason, it looked difficult a game this year. Just in December Comicket. URL source for TH13.5 is here http://www.tasofro.net/touhou135/index.html URL source for TH14 was unknown but someone sent it to me. also there is new Touhou official comic drawn by Moe Harukawa. source of the comic is here. http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Forbidden_Scrollery |

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide KamenRiderPantsu wrote: how has it become a joke in the naruto fandom when only 2 characters have something covering their single sharigan eye? When it's documented in TVTropes then it must be a fact! Lately it's been something of a meme that anyone covering an eye has a Sharingan (or more rarely a Byakugan or Rinnegan) unless proven otherwise. This also comes with the revelation that "covering an eye" describes like 20% of the cast. After Danzo's took his arm out, it seems it doesn't even need to be an eye, it's just anyone covering any part of their body. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: it sets a their main characters apart from others, namely background characters in the same series. so if the lead is in a crowd of regulars the audience can pick them out. also they are bright, recognizable colors that you can actually find in a real person, Japanese or not. that or maybe creators just like the color scheme. Well, like I said, it's more of a nitpick. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: Rule of Cool and a tension building technique. As for when Naruto said "A real hero always arrives right before it is too late!", that's just the young and brash idiot trying to be cool, plus timing is key in both looking cool and doing magic tricks. I still find it silly. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: 1. it's funny. 2. it shows how weak the guy is. 3. challenge for the male to overcome if he wants to bed her. for the violence of the girls, it's usually a knee-jerk reaction with an amount of success some people wish there was in the real world. "if you are a nice guy and take the beatings then you will also get a bunch of hot chicks fawning over you." it's the chance for nice guys who can't seem to get a girl to live vicariously through and nice guy anime character. I just don't like the guys get all the blame and get accused to be worst of existence when they've done nothing to get blamed for OVER AND OVER AGAIN! The that makes Sakura and Inoue the most useful characters ever! KamenRiderPantsu wrote: the girl also usually acts as the moral anchor/compass for the lead guy. also they are the usually used for plot points and to get idiot heroes to go somewhere/ do something. like mario. kidnap girl is an old dynamic that still holds true today in effectiveness. I don't buy this. If it's a realistic setting with Average Joes then I may accept the week girls. But when it's a fictional world where power is everything then there's no excuse. The girls must have the power to defend themselves on their own. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: as for the bad cooking, it's also a challenge much like the physical bashing earlier. suffer the cooking to get the girl you love. also it gives the girl something to possibly get better at with some character development should she get it. Your opinion. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: it's simple. it's easy. it works. it's a way to ensure an audience. it can be used as a bit of comic relief...if done right. also.....Fan Service because Sigmund Freud Was Right. You said it: "If done right." But they over use it a lot and most of the time comes wrong. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: is that optimus prime in the start on that digivice thingy in that first image set?? Transformers Robots In Disguise episode 1. Coincidentally, it was also dubbed by Saban. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: *ahem*.... ok let's see. drama but that leads to a revival of hope in the children. for Optimus' death, that was planned as a way to move the series to a next generation and bring in more characters, but they ended up HAVING to bring him back because the backlash about his death was so great. as such good ol' optimus was made to live again. for Mufasa's death that was a story point to help simba grow. and also it was used because the story is a slight spin on Hamlet. Yes. Mufasa's death was an important point for Simba's growth. Imagine if he woke up after few drops of tears! That will ruin everything the Lion King was supposed to be. And for Optimus it's another prove that fan pressure can change the course of the series. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: now for pokemon. you have monsters of all shapes and sizes that can cause all many of natural disasters and rain destruction down on all mankind if they wanted to, and yet you are calling BS on the magic tears? one other thing, since the anime was just begining, people were use to Ash, Pikachu, Misty, and Brock, so the audience back then was attached to them all. if they had let Ash die right there, then chances are the backlash would of been like the backlash from Optimus' death years earlier. Then they shouldn't have tried to kill him in the first place. (How does beam clash turn him to stone anyway?!) KamenRiderPantsu wrote: Rule of Cool. Yelling Equals Power. Psyche Up yourself and teammates and Psyche Out opponents. Funny Attack Names. Yelling Distracts People. Comedy. and silly characters like Hak Foo. Rule of Cool does not mean to act stupid in front of your enemy. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: there is a difference between not killing anyone and killing off 90+% of the entire cast. I think that guy you praised at the end is the guy who made a giant robot series that ended with the lead robot going nuclear and destroying the entire galaxy or what ever. you saw children get shot in the head and some get skin melted off! Tomino kills main characters! Just to show us being a main does not give a free pass from death. Death spares no one. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: Dragonball got worse when we got into Z with spamming the Dragonballs to fix things after almost every arc. With Hiyori getting cut in half in Bleach, that was for drama and to make us hate Gin and pray that Hiyori can be put back together. For Dragon Ball not only it was heavily based on fantasy, the balls got their limitations and can't use them all the time (Until the fixed the Namekian balls). For Hiyori, how the hell can you live after that?! Normally someone would die after losing half of his body. In Elfen Lied there was a doctor who got her body blown off and died after few seconds and that was also too much! KamenRiderPantsu wrote: With Naruto and the Slaughter of The Leaf, that was, again, to make us hate the opponent and want Naruto to just rip him apart, but since the message of the series is Anti-War, Resolution Through Peace, etc. Naruto managed to control himself and show that hate would get them no where, and that more lives will be saved with peaceful resolution than with a revengeful slaughter of the other side. And the reward: Everyone got killed is alive again! If only real life was that simple. I say it would be better if they remained dead to be a hard lesson to Naruto. KamenRiderPantsu wrote: Badass Boast. get's your fans pumped up, and the author then has a chance to crush that hope when they make the opponent outsmart the other guy. A boast that'll only make you stupid in the process. Are you willing to do the same thing in real life just to show how badass you are?! I guess this shows how we view what we watch or read. I take it seriously and try to convey logic and you take it for the fun of it. Megaflaem wrote: As you took over my collaging, I'll take over your Questioning, yay you! So Week 36(?)'s question: If you could record a message to give to yourself 20 years in the future, or you could make a time capsule, (a little box in which you place some treasured items to open up in the far future, not a time machine or a pill that alters time, mind you.) what would you put in the capsule, and what message would you leave to 20-year -older self? (This question was inspired by the guy who recorded himself at age 12 and then made a video of it at age 32, I believe his name was Jeremiah something, though my mind keeps saying it's Gottwald, no idea why) ![]() Totally original MOT which is totally not from SHINOBI's past questions and totally not cause I have limited net. It's 36. Hmm... not sure about the message... maybe I'll say "This is 2012. If you are watching this video in the future then it means the doomsday was a hoax. I'm still single, without a job. and still watching cartoons and collect toys. Is your life any better?" And I'll put some of my toys the I really don't need anymore, maybe my Gameboy Advance SP, and some pictures. I'm going to make sure I do this to my son. |
