I think we've kinda dropped the "Battle Of The Villains."

My current headphones right now are the Sol Republic Tracks HD. It's around $129 MSRP, and it's a highly recommend. For the price and quality, this easily outclass any Beats audio headphones- at some aspects even including the Studios. It's feels tough and doesn't look cheap. As a kicker, all the parts are replaceable and customizable, from the drivers, the wiring, and the headband; this really come in handy because when you invest in these high priced headphones you don't want to dish out another $xxx amount of cash to get them again when the only problem is the wiring gets clipped. My favorite thing about these is the bass. Damn the bass is just juicy. I mainly listen to instrumentals and futuristic sounds, and these just really deliver in the highs, the mids, and the lows in those sets. Probably my only qualm about this is it takes a bit of getting used to the headband; at first it feels a bit tight but that'll be gone in probably a couple of uses.

My second choice was the OE2. It cost roughly the same, probably minus $20. The sound is of course Bose level, which always translate to awesome. Though it feels flimpsy, but the wiring is interchangeable if something were to happen, which is something different from the other Bose pieces. It feels like silk and feathers on your ears. C'mon. It's Bose. You can't except less. (I'll probably buy one of these just because, but just because buys right now are not so present. "LAWL")

My third choice would be the same tier with the brand Sennheiser. It sounded German, and probably is, so quality is just second nature. I never got to try these on, but the reviews on their products have always been high. Curiousity will probably drive me to buy one of these someday.

A favorite of mine at the budget but still quality products are the products from Skullcandy. There hasn't been a pair from them, earphones or headphones, that I've picked up that disappointed. Plus, their designs are pretty sick.

Avoid anything Sony, Panasonic, or anything that sounds like a television. They are overpriced and are just there for the branding.

Well, if you are willing to dish out some green (or the Canadian equivalent), think of it as getting a pair of shoes. Like the shoes, you're probably going to be with it for a while, so pick one out that you would absolutely like in terms of feel, sound, design, cost, and practicality. Personally try them out and walk with them. Imagine yourself on the recliner just jamming out with them. Additionally, don't buy them out from the internet just yet; do the test drive that I've mention at like some electronics store and then spend the dough.
