Click to show or hide I thought it was.... bland, and somewhat goofy! Phoenix felt more of an idiot than what he was in the games... especially his stoned face when he sees Maya's spirit next to him. And Mia was bland as well. I can't remember if she even smiled at all. She didn't stand out next to Phoenix and give the witty comments or help that much like the games. And what's the deal with the fox/Tanooki fur? http://img1.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/spire3/e8eb51141df9073a88978b299046df681350052611_full.jpg The visuals are okay, but since we're mostly stuck at the courts and not enough outdoor investigation scenes we don't get to see a lot. But I guess the best part of the movie was displaying the evidence with the holograms and crazy mechanics. That was over the top and yet awesome at the same time. So... the movie wasn't that great as I hoped for. Maybe if they tried to make an original story then it might be a bit more interested. I give it.... 6.5 out of 10. It tried so hard, but didn't work quite well.

Click to show or hide i`m not sure if i`d give it to mayu, who`s father died, got repeatedly raped by her stepfather, and abandoned by her mother, mariko, who spent her enitre life living in a tank hooked up to machines with a bomb inside of her after her father tried to strangle her when she was a baby causing her mother to commit suicide, or lucy who had everybody hate her because she was different, the kids at the orphanage scene... i was glad that lucy slaughtered a bunch of children because they deserved it. how does that sound? and then she believed she was betrayed by the one person who was nice to her. she is later captured and hunted down by the organization. nana goes through hell, but she was happy because "papa" really did seem to care for her, so i won't count her.
