Yeah, I know what you mean, Crunchyroll only gets anime like catgirls ... fighting hollows ... playing soccer ... harboring a crush on her female classmate ... and saving the world from climate apocalypse ... on a hyperpowered motorcycle ... while delivering mail in a shadowy fantasy landscape. Its like all so similar. All sarcasm aside, what evidence is there that Crunchy did not want Sengoku Basara 2? The more obvious explanation is that Funimation licensed it for streaming, and so far Funimation has not streamed any of their shows on Crunchyroll. Most of ecchi, magical girls, slice of life and loli. How but something else. |

I was waiting for a few more airing shows to start my trial, so I'll check this out and the rest and decide to go back to free viewing or not. To be honest though, there are plenty of shows I'd want to watch on the site without ads, but...

It's actually better than I thought, it has enough "lack" of ecchi to make it bearable, but the reason (title) for this anime is kinda stupid, aliens came because they wanted to play..........but anyway that Momiji girl or w/e might start some cool fights in the next episodes :P.

You've described most of the current broadcast lineup in Japan. But when I look at the present simulcasts, I see Bleach, Giant Killing, Heroman, Naruto, Occult Academy, and Reborn. That is 6 out of 13 (6.1 out of 13.1 if I include Tono to Issho).. And in the catalog just to take one genre, there are 24 SF titles, the majority of which are mostly not ecchi, magical girls, slice of life and/or loli (some are, of course, because there's a market for that). |

After watching the second episode im kind of torn, the first one was actually pretty enjoyable, yet the second episode was not very impressive at all. all the buildup from the first one just kind of comes crashing down in the second one and it started going the usual ecchi route. I am willing to give it a few more episodes as a try though.

Great, more big breasted fanservice. Can we actually get a show with, I don't know, an actually good plot?

Seriously, have you even looked at the catalog here? And seriously watch the first episode and maybe you'll realize that it isn't quite what it appears..... |

I'm not sure if this show looks very interesting, but I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt.
