I have work many years putting in 4000 hour in a year that twice as much as 40 hour work week. Now I am semi-retired what right do people have to my money that I have worked for? Why would I want to pay the way for under achievers?

Whine Whine Whine, Who are you calling anyone an under achiever, To each person, they either have work, want work and those who want to lay around and skim off everyone else w/o doing something about it, and there are those who had work, are now either on unemployment trying to find work, or those who have lost their homes for one reason or another and can't work for fear their family will be separated from each other, or because they don't have a permanent address can't get work because of predudice against ones who've lost their homes, or cant work due to physical problems, like me, I have arthritis in both knees and venus stasis, I'm trying to lose enough weight so I can have an operation on my stomach so I will be made to become full quicker and still have the vitamins and minerals to lose further weight, then hopfully before I'm elegible for social security, rather than SSI, which I fought for tooth and nail. so don't you dare thumb your nose, or look down on others, except those who deserve it, and don't you dare thumb your nose at me!!

No one deserves to benefit from your hard work without working hard themselves, and no one is making you pay to support people who are unwilling to work. I don't know where you people get this idea that anyone and everyone who is receiving some sort of government aid is just sitting at home doing nothing.

If anyone is unjustly benefiting from your work, it's the banks who get bailed out by taxpayers every time they screw up.

Are you implying that you didn't reap any Government sponsored benefits while you were growing up?
(Bitching only about "Welfare" - the ones that minorities are notorious for - is a very poor reason to get upset when welfare is spent on variety of people in different ways.)

Guess it's convenient for you to complain now since you've already reaped its benefit and now you're the one who is paying.

Life is killing us every day. There is no use bitching about it when plenty of other people are thrown in the shit routinely.

I feel the same way about the health care bill. Wait is that what you are talking about indirectly?

There's a lot of people who game the system, whatever the system is, to reap benefits they're unentitled to.

Corporate entities are guilty of this as well. for every slacker playing nintendo while on welfare, There's organisations and individuals who gain something while doing nothing in every favourite field of human endeavor. Your hard earned money get's legally stolen from you every day to profit someone, not just through government and socialism but through corporations and unbrindled capitalism, not just on behalf of liberals but also conservatives too.

The banks for example make money by loaning out yours for higher interest rates than they pay you. That's not good enough for them They keep finding creative ways to trap your money in your account so they can play the market with it. They keep finding ways to not provide a service and bill you extra for the services they aren't providing and actually expect you to be happy about it.

why isn't anyone raging about them?

Read this and point out one thing that involves the government coming to your house, busting down your door, taking all your stuff, and giving it to someone who hasn't worked a day in their lives and spends all their life on the couch in front of the TV:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act#Provisions

If you can find one provision that suggests what I described above, then your feelings are justified. If not, then open your eyes and stop buying into the propaganda.

No one is raging about them because no one is talking about them. Conservatives in the media are too busy slandering Obama as a communist dictator to talk about the banks and corporations stealing tax payer money, and the idiotic masses take their propaganda as fact and get angry at the wrong people. It's a sad, twisted system where the crooks are blaming the police for their crimes, causing the public to attack the police and prevent them from doing their job while the crooks keep taking their money without anyone trying to stop them.

I am still against the health care bill. I really don't care how others feel about it. I know that I will make it in life and want my hard earned money to go towards the health care of my choosing. I don't want to pay for other peoples health care. Damn Obama and all of his plans. Everyone complained about Bush bringing this country into trillions of dollars of debt in eight years. Well Obama Obama did it in less than an eighth of the time as Bush.

To be fair he did it by cleaning up the banks' mess.

Anyhow, do what you like but I -like- the system we have here in Canada. It works, it's cheaper. and Health is not treated as a commodity to be bartered.

Free riders are an inevitability regardless of what social or economic system you use. Different cultures have different views on such individuals. Here in the West where people are of a meaner nature, such individuals would be ostracized. In India there are many ascetics and holy men who are reliant entirely on the generosity of the locals, they don't work and spend most of their days in spiritual pursuit. Instead of being ostracized by society, they are revered and worshiped, and the greatest of them are sometimes thoughtlessly elevated to godhood by the people of the region.

I shouldn't waste my time typing this because you seem to be hopelessly ignorant, but I have nothing better to do:

Absolutely nothing in the recent health care "reform" bill involves using tax payer money to pay for other people's health care. Tax payers are not paying any more for health care than they have been since Medicare and Medicaid have been around, although I don't see anyone complaining about those. So there's no point for you to be against the bill if that was your only concern about it, and if you still want to hold on to your delusion after being presented with the facts, then I hope you're one of the first people to be eliminated if your little plan to get rid of all the stupid people ever works out.

Another thing, Obama hasn't racked up nearly as much debt as Bush did. Bush started with a surplus in the budget and managed to drain that and then drive us into debt. Obama has increased the debt and is continuing to do so, but he is far from wasting as much money as Obama did. Maybe he will later on, but if you believe he is the cause of the entire $13+ trillion dollar debt, then i hope you get vasectomized once they start testing people for their parenting licenses.

Then where is the money going to come from jackass? It is coming from tax payers like myself. I have around two hundred dollars worth of taxes taken out of every check. That is a quater of my check. When Bush was president it was only a little over one hundred. Do you work? Can you see the amount of money being taken out of your check if you do? You are simple if you are accusing me of being ignorant just because I have different views. Why dont you go jerk off with you other socialist buddies.
