The first and last time I was bullied was when a girl approached me outside of school grabbed my neck and shoved me against the wall and asked me to go into a shop to buy cigarettes for her and her gang. I was like "Well maybe if you asked me nicely" and she tightened her grip. I grabbed her wrist, twisted it so much that she screamed and then I flipped her over so she was in a daze on the ground. I got some money out of my pocket and dropped it on her as she laid there and walked away. Her friends did NOTHING which goes to prove that they are just there for decoration

You never ever back down!! Nobody has the right to treat you like that and you should fight back there and then and screw the consequences.

Don't hesitate to help someone else either who is getting bullied.

Ohhhhhoooo NICE I'd kill to see that!! Good girl especially the dropping money part its like saying "I feel sorry for you" to them but actions speak louder than words.

Yeah thats why I threw the money on her, to make sure she'd leave me alone after that. Luckily my little demonstration of martial arts ensured she didn't pursue me -__- it was a dangerous thing to do. She could've pulled a knife on me but she was strangling me so I had to defend myself. I hope I never encounter someone like that again. There are some evil people out there.

Well, I was bullied once during dismissal time. When I was just a 4th grader, I was walking down the empty corridor admiring the view outside when a pack of sixth graders teased me. They were wearing droopy ghost masks that didn't really freak me out. They trapped me in a corner where the boy's and girl's comfort room was installed. I didn't want to get inside the girl's comfort room for fear of them locking me inside. One guy with the ugliest ghost mask made a move toward me while the others made suppose-to-be-scary noises behind him. I wasn't scared of them at all. I kicked the guy on the shins and made a karate punch on his mask then I ran away to tell my mother what happened(She was a 3rd grade teacher in the school I attend).

They didn't bully me right after that. I think they were scared of my mum and scared of me. I must say, I didn't really have proper training in karate but i learned them online even though i only knew a little.

Bullying is a problem. Teachers work hard to control the situation in the classroom. But depending on how many students are in the class (there are school in cities like Detroit, MI that have more than 40 students and a single teacher in them) it can be very difficult to keep control. Teachers also get bullied by students and by their parents.
There needs to be a meeting of all groups involved. Parents, Teachers, Principals and school officials.

Standing up for yourself and for others is good. Defending others is good as well. It shows a strong spirit.

if your getting bullied then step up for yourself, let them know your not one to be bullied with.. yea its the teacher's responsibility to stop it n all but you shouldn't rely on them.. because if you start relying on people to handle your problems.. by the time you get older where ever you go people will step on you.. be it your boss, friends, strangers.. n its because you let them.. but your use to relying on ppl, so you don't do anything

btw my definition of being bullied is through either talking smack to you, trying to scare you, commanding things, n physical contact

Now a days, a teacher can go to jail for trying to break up a fight. It's sad when a kid can't even learn because some dumb fucks keep bothering them. Than we here about these suicide stories, all because no one was brave enough to say stop.

Saying stop isn't enough, just words accomplish nothing, action accomplishes things, if you want a bully to stop, you need to physically make him stop.

That's pretty much what I meant by stop, but I agree.

i was bullied too,

maaaan, those were some bad years, i've been bullied for what.. 4 - 5 yrs, if i remember correctly,
lucky me, i had friends in my class who stood up for me
i endured it all, but now, i think that if i ever met them and they started doing the same shit like yrs ago, i'd beat the crap out of them, boys or not..
- yeah i know, violence is never an answer

and in my school, some teachers tried to talk to them, but hey, they were teenagers- puberty hit them, they couldn't care less what the teach had to say to them.

I've started a new school that is ( I mean it) built so that bullying isn't able to happen. Every wall is made of glass so that everyone can see everything that happens in the school. We can also see the teachers and the principal so it is more secure I think. It would be great if every school really put down effort to stop bullying like that.

If no one helps you, violence is your only defence in some situations so I don't think it's wrong.

I personally have never been bullied to that level, just teasing but if i was in that situation i would sue, you can sue on so many levels, assalt with battery, harassment, threat, etc. Those things are all sueable, but it depends if you have the money for a lawyer and if your willing to go that far cuz i know that the teachers are gonna do shit about it.
