There are actually more women than men voting in the US.

Hillary Clinton is very corrupt like her so-called husband. It's interesting to note that Oprah Winfrey, someone seen as a major womens' leader in the US, does not endorse Hillary. If Hillary does actually win the Democratic nomination, the democrats will lose the election. I think that the swing voters would rather have another Republican of some sort rather than another Bill Clinton, especially if the Republican candidate is more intelligent and libertarian than Bush.

If Hillary does get the nomination it'll be great for Republicans though. The democrats lost the 2000 election because so many people were so sick of the corruption of the Democratic party that they voted for other people like Ralph Nader. Bill Clinton is perhaps the major reason why the Democratic party's reputation went downhill.

^ I definatly concur. Sure, I'm all for women running for president as long as they're a GOOD candidate. From what I've read, I feel she's a bit of an instigator esp. when it comes to other foreign countries. I'll admit it she's very good with domestic policies, but she's the type of person that'll start wars with other countries. She has a an iron fist and doesn't feel that peace isn't on her list of priorities. A great example is the fact that she did vote to have the war in Iraq! Also the republicans wants her to win due to the fact that she has so much baggage to her and that she's an easy target!

True that, she was really a beast, she is also known as one of the most evil rulers..

Of course I see it now how could we possibly go against Oprah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Using 10's of exclamation points tends to make you look like an idiot.

My point with Oprah was simply that women don't vote for someone just because the candidate is a woman. I'll be quite happy if people go against Oprah on most things.

Oprah would be supporting Hilary because she is woman if there was not a feasible black candidate. In my honest opinion many people will vote for whats between her legs and not in her head and many people will vote Obama because he is black. I like to do this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a ridiculous excuse, if people vote Obama, its certainly not for WHAT he is, but WHO. I doubt that there's double standards are being played in this election, i have to say it's strictly hardball.

females should be allowed into politics. This is a free world , with free opinions, and i strongly believes that women in politics are not any bit inferior to men in politics . Rather , they are a fearsome force . Women change the course of history sometimes . And behind every sucessful man lies a strong women .

a balance is needed . A fair balance of ideas from both genders.

The average American knows next to nothing about politics. It is a sad fact that someones gender or race plays a role but I am not making excuses. People will vote for and against him because he is black (not everyone mind you) and if you deny it then you are a silly man princess

Well, when people in Washington DC (the city) reelected Marion Berry as mayor after the whole crack-smoking-with-prostitute incident, you do have to wonder if in that case it was simply because he was black or something. Then again, maybe most people in DC smoke crack and frequent prostitutes, and thus they felt he was best qualified to represent them....

i see nothing wrong with the concept. however there have been people protesting this. if you want to understand about it, read the beliefs of the Great Chain of Being or The pearl (by john steinbeck)

if you're in US, you probably heard that hilary clinton had a "meltdown". women are stereotypically the less powerful people and emotional. so when people see how powerful women can become, they're worried about the future. therefore, even a little tear produced by a female politician can cause an uprise. that sucks.

hmm.. what i think is.. if before they've hindered women from actually taking part in leaderships.. why don't the government try hiring them.. from a long rest maybe women can actually prove their worth in the society right?? i'm not being a feminist or something but we are equal .. there's no such thing as superior than the other.. although i don't support the ideology "total equality" coz it's being unrealistic

I don't mind, I admire women with strengths, I mean power
I mean as long as they do their job properly, they're good as any other and maybe more. Just don't start crying in public, it pisses me off (like my country's ex-president did).

Yes, women should meddle with politics.

A head figure for this example would be monica lewinsky. Her contribution to the white house is beyond mere words. It was a devastating blows when she left the presidential office. Her helping hand would surely be missed.
