I watched it and it was amazing!!!!! The best thing is that it had Leonardo DiCaprio in it which made the movie exciting!!!

I saw this is at the drive-in and enjoyed it well enough. It looks good and the editing/cinematography is well done. I thought the plot was pretty ridiculous, forgettable and the first third of the movie played out pretty bland. The character's motives seemed wafer thin (pretty much everyone played to archetype) and the whole training montage seemed at best, just necessary for the rest of the movie to happen. It was all very typical heist with an atypical format. I love embedded stories and frame narratives but unfortunately Nolan's overly tight grip on the production deprived the suspense of any real danger. Nolan made sure every time that we knew exactly where we were and exactly what the stakes are. By the time any real ambiguity is introduced in the narrative, the ending, it hardly matters because the plot has been satisfied and it makes little difference whether it's dream space or physical space. Inception seems to play out somewhat similarly to his earlier film, the prestige. With inception it's the the realization of un-reality through layers of dreams while in the prestige un-reality is realized through layers of more and more unbelievable tricks; both endings imply a questioning of their own realities. Nolan's a magician. I'd watch inception again but disappointing as it had potential to do so much more.
