It's because how ridiculously influential Confucianism still is on Chinese family organizational structure, even though the ideology is hardly an ideal state, when it's not even realistically possible in today's multicultural Canada. While it's only a PR stunt for the Chinese government.

It's not about whether its ideal for you. Society doesn't have to conform to your ideals, If it works for them, so be it, leave them be.

Its their family, they have the right to run things their way.

Besides it will slowly degrade with time, everything does. Everything is only a matter of time.

Look you worked hard on this OK, but you did put your spin on it to break it down and to post it. So what is your point or why did you bring it up. You did pick and choose your comments from the broadcast. Missed part of that I knew it was a conference but what was yours and it was bluer to me. If there dumb enough to loan the US Government Money, I should keep my, mouth shut.

Is it a culture, or an organized religion? Even if it's the latter, then the individuals still can choose not to keep all of it. When just like race and ethnicity goes, even an individual's cultural background cannot sufficiently justify who they are.

Even though I've demonstrated times and again how it doesn't works at all? Using factual evidences that's from Chinese-Canadian immigrants.

Also, here in Canada we have something called the Family Relation Act. You'll think it's crazy and irresponsible for idiots to maintain family relationship.

Finally, when the Chinese government controls all socializing agents with heavy media censorships, how do you expect any societal change with that much regulations on ideology?

Your claims are becoming rather irresponsible and irrational here, do you have any proof for your claims being justified?

Yet you're still yapping, you hypocrite.

You see, it doesn't have to work. Society doesn't have to work perfectly for everyone. To the Chinese peoples it works. To them your ideals many not work. Its all a matter of personal preference.

What works for some may not work for others. Everyone is far to different for one system to work for everyone.

And besides you wouldn't like it very much if I tried to force my ideals onto you. And I know you wouldn't like it if I passed laws mandating my ideals onto not just you, but everyone. So you shouldn't try to force your way onto others.

Family is important. But nobody is interested in starting families anymore.

The only people left interested in starting families are gay people.

Society doesn't have to change. Nothing has to do anything period.

You seem to think that anyone who has an opposing view point is stupid and irrational, which is utter bullshit.

What makes Canadian Society better than Chinese Society ?

And you can't have multi culture without multiple culture, if the Chinese families let go of their Chinese culture and adopt Canadian culture, how is that multi-cultural ?

Your basically saying to the Chinese families "Your Chinese culture is unacceptable here, you must get rid of your culture and adopt ours"

While you claimed that nobody should be trying to change other people's preference, you were clearly violating your own principle with your expression, you hypocrite.

If you don't want to change anything, then the first thing that you can do is to STFU.

Is it better to be complex and diverse? I don't know for the rest of human beings, but the fact still remains that humanity is diverse, and culture is complex. Those who think otherwise are being ignorant and oblivious to the nature and reality of changes, and that's dangerous IMHO.

Liar, where exactly did I said that in my paper? And how exactly did you get that impression on Canadian Multiculturalism Act?
