Of course racism is still out there.
Its a hateful disease that can't be cured..but, if you can get cured, then, thats great.
Especially with the stupid immigration law going on, racism deffinitely is out there.
But, back in the 1900's, it was even worse!

Have I been offended by it?
Not in front of my face, but, I've heard/seen it before.

God people, stop hatin' and start lovin'!

For 18 years I had no problems with racism. Then I moved from Germany to the US!
I have no problems in Japan visiting the Grandparents either!
Might have to add that I am part black
In the US it is different! People always whisper and point fingers when I am with my white best friend.
They think we are a couple and I guess dark skinned woman/white guy is still a shocker in some parts!
Nobody cares when I am out with my Japanese boyfriend for some reason!
I really don't care about what others say and think! I like myself way too much for it

Let the folks that hang out in front of the package store/gas station/bar point their fingers! They probably don't have half the things I am blessed with!

Yeah, the US is pretty bad.
I tend to dress down, so I usually don't get any respect until I whip out the black card.....They respect THAT nickle

Well nobody has called me any racial slurs in person, but on the internet of course I heard them around me; I don't think anyone was racist towards me on it. Probably when I speak/type on xbox live or on some MMO for some damned reason some people say I talk/sound like a freakin white person! IDK either, but I find that very offensive and very annoying! But there's no problem being white:). Idk how you can talk like a white person or some other color.

Anyway racism will disappear when people stop label others as a race - which doesn't even make any lick of sense why people categorize someone from a different color or something as such, to me anyway.
We all from the human race the only thing that separates us is mind, body, and culture imo. Oh and terrain.

Racism will always be out there as long as people are different races.
I went to school in the ghetto so black people have been racist to me, it doesn't matter though because we're all a bit racist. Most people automatically assume and expect different things about people according to their race.
Happens all the time.

This guy in my class was racist to me and other Asians by saying, "CHING CHONG CHING CHING CHING CHONG ~" every time he saw me.

I forgave him since that was in grade 2.

Of course racism is still out there. It's not something you can stop easily. People have been racist towards me before, but they were all immature teenagers who have no idea what they're actually talking about. Racism is to hate or believe you have superiority over another race, so I didn't take it to heart when they were being racist to me because I know they actually don't hate our race. However, that doesn't mean calling me a 'chink' or 'gook' isn't offensive verbally; it bothers me when I'm referred to like that.

And yeah, I care that people are racist. I don't see why some people have some kind of superiority complex that makes them think they are better than other people just because of their race. It disgusts me that some people could treat others of a different race the way they do. Humanity is cruel; that is all.

Obviously, racism can't really be totally eradicated. Just like how the notion of world peace can't really happen either. The human nature prevents them from happening. Beside, I actually find racism to be rather amusing at times

Racism will never die. Its flat out impossible.

No one is born a racist. Its just when people are exposed to the enviroment, things can happen.

Observe. Say I never had a negative thought towards colored people (Notice how I say colored, and white is a color), and then one day I go to the movie theaters, since I had been there on previous occasions and had great times. Now lets say during the movie, I notice that in the bottom right front row, people are talking during the movie, on further analysis, I see they are colored people, the first thing that comes to my mind is "Why are they talking during the movie?" I have yet to establish any negative sterotypes, however if they persist, I will remember what happened. However over time, I can easily forget if no negative things happen involving rude people. However what if I do have another experience like that? Maybe not at a movie theatre, but just anywhere in general, when I see people who are going against the social norms of wherever I go and being rude.....negative stereotypes start to form.....and when things like this happen more often......the hate builds and grows stronger......now granted......peoples tolerance are on completely different levels....however people are exposed to negative things more than others.......so basically what Im trying to say is......its impossible for someone to not avoid any stereotypes or a tad bit of hate when it comes across people of all kinds.

Stereotypes happen for a reason. And Racism cannot die ever. Its impossible
