I wish I knew what my dream was. It would make the decision so much easier.

I'm the choose your dream prototype, skipped class for the past 15 years, songwriting, now trying to become a pro-wrestler......

Don't get me wrong, an education is very important, for it contains knowledge you can always use, but universities as well as colleges have been too much about conformity, being the most important cog in society with your craft, I don't buy into the dogma...........

So, homeschool and live your dreams

And no I wouldn't give up my scholarship for a lover. Thats just plain idiotic.

You don't need school for that. Just practice on hobos and hitchhikers and such.

Sure why not. I can preform back alley surgeries for 50 bucks. Thats the way to go......if you couldnt tell i was being sarcastic.

All i can say is.. sometimes you have to be realistic when it comes down to the ultimatum of your passionate dream and education for a successful future. If i were to say I wanted to be famous, no matter if it was a singer or an actress. You have to be realistic, its like going to an audition for a commercial, there could be around four thousand people auditioning for just that specific part. Whats the chance you will get it? It comes down to a very slim chance. Its hard to make it into that type industry, you need money. In america to do anything in this country you need the money, without money, you wont make it alive in this country, and that is the truth. Sometimes you have to think that there are a million other people just like you that are just as talented and want to fulfill their dreams, but the reality is the outcome of it actually happening are very slim. If you go to college and even if its college not even a university. You still have a degree, you did your education. And with a college education alone, you can get a well paid job, to have alot of nice things, that if you went out to become the next Lady Gaga, you wouldn't be able to afford to be able to even think about wanting indulge yourself with nice things and live well not worrying about how your going to make money to pay the bills next month.

But sometimes, thats not how it works.
For example, Linkin Park, weren't they homeless before they became big? (if Im not mistaken from my source) And look at them now Internationally known. Sometimes, it's all about making the sacrifices too and having the will and ambition to reach your dreams no matter not eating and not having a roof to live under.

College v. Dreams?
I chose College over my dreams, but it's not like I don't love both. I know that the college I'm at right now is where I need to be. And iit feels right to follow this career. My dreams are not at a lost. As I will obtain them along the side of my chosen career. ^^ So - I will get the best of both worlds no matter what. =)

Scholarship v Relationship?
Definitely scholarship. If I feel like I belong at this school - I will not leave it to pursue my lover. If we are strong lovers, we can try out for a long distance relationship. If that relationship doesn't work out - I still have my scholarship. And a bright future ahead plus "the one" out there somewhere.

College, obviously. Well, to me it is. See, I go through college, find a great job, and then I can store up on the biggest collection of anime and manga in the world -- or at least, the city?
