Is anyone else aware of an ad that sends you to another link with a yes/no (download this anti-virus software) msg window attached after trying to access either www.crunchyroll.com/ or www.crunchyroll.com/anime ?? I recently scanned my computer and cleaned it scott-free, then watched a lot of crunchyroll media, without doing much else... and a few days later, I had the same dangerous files on my computer... possibly ad-ware/trojan and/or other virus. This actually happened a few minutes before posting this too, but I wasn't signed on as my user account. Maybe it'll appear if you are a guest? Please assist.

This has already been mentioned in the support threads, just download the software in the link I posted and you won't have this problem anymore.

Yeah, but than that's why I have FireFox with NoScript. It blocks all those annoying ads on the site x]

nope never gotten it o.o
If you are wondering, I use Mozilla Firefox with Adblock Plus along with Adblock Filterset.G Updater and use Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.
Kaspersky scans everything, including websites I go and it didn't pick up anything suspicious.
I must be lucky :]

Hello, Not sure if this would be the forum to report this, but just wanted to mention something that is EXTREMELY annoying... There is one advertiser you use (great, I know they pay the bills) but be careful with whom you associate with.
I'm talking about the website advertising PerformanceOptimizer... upon accesing your site and when trying to simply "view" the anime index, an ad runs for P.Ozer, it actually performs a redirection to their site(seems to anyway), popping up a message pretending to be a system warning that if you close it, simply pops yet another message. (I use firefox so I can get out of it) but talking with friends who use IE, they mentioned that closing those pop ups actually runs/attempts to install a trojan... at best is an annoying ad, at worst it could actually attempt to install a trojan... Not sure if others have seen this behaviour.... you may want to check it out....

I do want to mention that I absolutely love the site and I'm grateful that all the series you guys make available.... Tnx.

To block out harmful pop-ups, install IE7Pro for Internet Explorer 6 and 7.

For firefox, install ad-block

OR

addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

next time post your problems here:
