Ai [email protected] Tips and Tricks: - by oNatsuo

Ai [email protected] wrong display error (Black Screen fix):

Ever had this problem?

The game is completely run-able if you just set your Standards and Formats to Japanese, there is no error at all. When in game the Japanese writing just appears as scribbles, to fix that you can run it with Applocale set to Japanese.

So to run the game, just set your standards and formats to Japanese, no need to set your locale to Japanese if you have Applocale, you can use Applocale if you want to view Japanese writing correctly.

Where and how can I set it in my Windows?

Windows XP

Windows XP: Start-Control Panel-Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options (Default View)
Windows XP: Start-Control Panel-Regional and Language Options (Classic View)

Set the Standards and Formats to Japanese, not just Unicode programs.

Windows Vista

Windows Vista: Start (Orb)-Control Panel (Default view)-Change the system Language (Under "Clock, Language and Region" tab)
Windows Vista: Start (Orb)-Control Panel (Classic view)-Regional and Language Options

Same as Windows 7 below.

Windows 7

It is easy, first Install Windows AppLocale, you can find it here~
Then set your format to Japanese, only that.

How to set your format you say? Don't worry, just follow these 3 little steps:

First Step: Go to your Control Panel

Second Step: On "Clock, Language and Region" click "Change Display Language"

Third Step: On Formats change your Language to Japanese and click "Apply" or "Ok"

Now run Ai [email protected] through Windows AppLocale set on Japanese or just use this code on your shortcut when running the game:

Example: "C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch\AppLoc.exe "C:\Igre\ai [email protected]\ai [email protected]" "/L0411""

That is it, now your error is fixed as I tested it and will show you now:

No need to restart nor Log Off, it works just like that.

Ai [email protected] PortForwarding:

Ever had problems with Lag on Ai [email protected]?

Here is a simple solution that should reduce it, at least slightly.

PortForward these ports and enjoy:

Ai [email protected] uses TCP 50000-50300.
Ai [email protected] also uses HTTPS 443 and HTTP 80 which you do not need to PortForward.

Do not know how to PortForward?

Don't worry, just follow the guide on this site and you will be fine~

--------------------------------
Ok, I will put some questions and translations of the starting login and character ones. I can't remember all but at least you will have the pictures for translation.

Ai [email protected] Ai Tunes (Aiちゅーん): Thanks to zz32005~

Want to use a configuration from your friend? Do you want to save your configuration of your Ai Doll for the next re-install? This is what you must do then~

How to save a configuration of your Ai Doll:

Go to the place where your game is installed (example: C:/Program Files/Ai [email protected]), then go to "user/YOURNUMBER (example: 12345)/1". You can copy everything from there and save it for the next re-install of the game~

After Re-installing the game:

Go to the place where your game is installed again and go to the "user/YOURNUMBER (example: 12345)/1" again, if it's not there then just login once into your game and exit.

Copy everything except the "ai" and "YOURUSERNAME (example: oNatsuo)" folder.
Now after you are done copying, go into your "USERNAME" folder, copy everything except the default configuration file into it, don't replace anything if you copy everything, just add new files.

After you are done with that go to your "ai" folder. Copy everything except the ailist.csv into it.
Visit your "name" folder while you are still in the "ai" folder and see what the name of your configuration is, in my case it's Natsu.

Open ailist.csv using notepad in your "ai" folder and write "Natsu,1,0,,,", of course you will use your name of the configuration, not mine~

That's all, now you can use your old configuration file in your game after you login~

Adding a configuration from your friend:

You can do the same as above or just add his configuration into "C:/Program Files/Ai [email protected]/user/YOURNUMBER (example: 12345)/1/YOURUSERNAME (example: oNatsuo)/" from his same folder and add his configuration name from "C:/Program Files/Ai [email protected]/user/YOURNUMBER (example: 12345)/1/ai/name".

Now just edit ailist.csv and add the name of his configuration like I did for my name "Natsu,1,0,,,".
Edit his configuration file and the name file, replace all his user names and also of his ai doll with your own using notepad and then save em.

The using your friends configuration file is not tested yet so if you ever do it report it here so we know it really works~

Enjoy~ ^^

Where do you even check how long you've played for?

Right click yourself and...click...something... I'll try getting a picture or something when I get on next time. It's basically your profile screen that shows your IGN, birthday, blood type, etc.
