that way....the teach CAN'T tell u to PUT UR HEAD UP cuz everyone knows its racist to say "open ur eyes there!! asian sitting in the corner!!"

I would sleep or leave the class if it's college.

think of funny things to keep my mind amused and bust out laughing suddenly...definitely keeps me awake....

Is it bad that i just fall asleep. No care in the world. I do try not to though. Only because i grind my teeth when i sleep.

I just kinda fall asleep I can't help it if I'm that tired haha

I pretend that I'm listening, meanwhile daydreaming about things that are so unreleated what I really want to dream about.

I had a trick to this.

Assume this "praying" position and they legally cant say anything since its forbidden to restrict religion in the US:

Sometimes I'll stab myself with my pencil, but not too hard, just enough to keep me awake....

Sleep

I muscle through it and do my best to stay awake. If I can't stay awake I leave the class.

I just open a book, put it in front of me, and sleep. And if the teacher happens to be asking for last week's homework, I get the book out, all work done and all, and leave it open in front of me while I sleep.

Never had the teachers going on a rampage when I did that, because I keep up my grades above average, mostly A's all the way, so they have nothing to complain about. I also participate in a lot of sports, and volunteer to be class rep for most sports, so that gives me additional leeway whenever I'm sleepy. And I guess it's also because I always study ahead of the class, I read through and try to understand a chapter during the night before it's being taught in class the next day - yes, I can give a correct answer even if I've slept through the first period when the teacher asks a question. I also have good track record all my life, so that's another escape for me sleeping in class. And since I always offer to help various teachers (all of whom have taught me in at least a subject throughout my school life) with their work, it was practically "o.k" for me to sleep in class.

I even have my teachers order my classmates to lend me their notebooks in case I needed to copy the notes I've missed while I sleep during class...which means my friends shooting daggers my way. LOL. Those were fun days.

I would usually put one arm on my desk, and prop my forehead up with my hand while covering my eyes at the same time. Then... close my eyes...

just.. keep sleeping?

if my teacher is so boring.. and i felt sleepy. i just make a drawing at my notes. with my favorite anime..ehheeh
