and as i remember from the manga.. iva-san threatened/ blocmailed croco-boy if ever he betrays them which causes crocodile to "sweat drop"..XD
i think iva-san used to do that technique to crocodile in the past..

well that was just my opinion.

The manga only focused on Luffy, whereas the anime tried to show other members too. It kind of connects with the manga ^_^
