Please answer the topic question and include what age you obtained said license.

As for me I obtained my Permit at the age of 15, License at the age of 16, and I am currently working on an international Driver's License. I got a 100% on the computer taken permit test and an 86% on the actual driving test for the license. The reason being I did not use the turn signals as much as I should have.

I got my permit like about a week after I turned 15 1/2. You have to be 15 1/2 to get your permit in Virginia. Well, I was too busy to get mine when I just turned 15.5, I had practice and such. You can only get 5 wrong on the second part, I think. And you have to get a perfect score on the first part, it was the signs test. It was way too easy, although I got 4 wrong. I passed my first try though. Oh, and the line was pretty long too. I need to have my permit for 9 months, so I can get my license when I'm... 16 and 3 months, which is like in the end of November for me, so basically I'm getting my license in December. You know what sucks? I'm young for my grade, a lot of my friends already have their license, and some of them even got their license before I got my permit. ):
btw, I feel like this is a duplicate, could be wrong though.

In United Kingdom you have to be 17 to learn to drive (including permit)

I started lessons soon after my 17th birthday and passed my test 6 months later. Passed first time and also did a Pass Plus course which is Motorway training and allows me to have cheaper insurance.

I drive a Ford Ka but my Dad is giving me his Subaru Impreza SXI once he finds a new sports car. The insurance is sky high so the Pass Plus will really come in handy there and I need a good job before I can afford to keep the beast on the road.

I was also young for my grade back in High school, but my most of my friends failed their test, so in the end it didn't matter anyway.

I see, I don't blame you. This is especially true in the United States.

It's not that bad driving in the US ... It's much better compared to other undeveloped countries, where they do NOT follow the light signals at all.

I agree, but I would also argue that the United States has one of the highest rates of "bad" drivers compared to other developed nations.

LOL ... "bad" drivers?

I wished they would increase the speed limit in California since most drivers drive 70+ miles per hour. It's scary if you are not used to it.
