Last shot I received, I had a unintentional boner for several minutes, it felt weird

But that was my first shot in 12 years or something.

Never heard that one before.. Needle fetish? I'd be very suspicious of the contents in any shot that did that to me..

Anyway, taken countless shots but never had an reaction to any of them, with the exception of minor side-affects from the Swine flu shot. (Nausea and headaches).

i hate needles but my worse reaction would have to be the time i was given 2 shots simultaniously in the same place, it cause dizziness(i ran into a wall) i started buning and shortening of breath but for only a litle while til i found some place to sit down.but that probably happened because i have panic attachs when i get shots or blood taken

I work in a hospital lab. I can tell you, that if you give 10 different people the same shot, you will probably get 10 different reactions.
Also, if you are given a TB skintest, the skin around the area its given will probably bubble up, but it should go down and you should have no bump, just probably a bruise, after 24-48 hours. (The test is read usually at 48-72 hours.) Flu shots usually make your arm sore for about 24hrs max, but thats it. Also for people who get stuck multiple times for a veinapuncture...I'm sorry. Its probably the phlebotemist or nurse who stuck you, not you. There are a few people who are TRULY HARD to stick, but a good phlebotemist can usually find atleast ONE good spot to stick you.

(My job is to perform the tests after you are stuck)

Sorry for the rambling..... but most people dont understand the part of the hospital I work in.

A few times when I've gotten a shot I could hardly breath for a few minutes afterward. I don't know why the hell that was.

I really hate muscle shots. Other shots I enjoy though

I got pretty ill after a Hep B shot, I had to go to hospital to have endoscopy, my stomach got inflammed so I was on an anti-inflammatory drip for a day. =/

Also I've been vaccinated against cervical cancer, a course of 3 injections. It seemed to mess up my hormones terribly! I was having periods every 2 weeks instead of 4 and they were very irregular. It took about 6 months to get back to normal.

A friend of mine was in intensive care a day after having a Tuberculosis shot. Its quite unpredictable what they can do to your body.

I got hit by a car in mexico a couple years back and I remember being very disorientated by the blow. When I got to the medical facility all I kept telling the doctor was por favor, sin anestetico, which is actually anestesico(due to potential allergies), but they got the message.
The stitches it took to get my ankle back on my foot (mild exaggeration) were quite brutal.

Then of course my little sis had to one up me on a brutal story.
She got hooked up in the hospital and they just couldn't find veins to stab with needles anymore, so they went directly into her calf.
The solvent leaked and ate away a huge chunk of her leg, it's like she has her own shark-story......

Just fine.
I just have to tell myself that it'll hurt if I think shots hurt.
Think no pain, feel no pain.
It always works for me.

I hate needles
Whenever I get shots, the next day I get sick -__- It's supposed to do the opposite effect? Geez =.=
Also, after the shot, I have no power/energy on my arm that I got the shot on.
Weird, right?

It's okay most of the time. I remember I had to get a blood test last year... it was like a minute and a half long shot. o_o That was scary...
