Sometimes nothing happens, but on other times, it would swell.

Have any of you gotten the "pinched" shots, where they put some small thingy over the base of your finger and instant shot? I got one friday and I was expecting to feel it..but I felt nothing. 0_o I usually do when I get a blood donation.

depends on the caliber, the round, and where it happens.

Saying I survived the shot and remained conscious, I'd go through shock aka acute stress reaction, should I regain my wits before the end I might be a bit delirious from the loss of blood. I'd also be pretty dang thirsty, and I'd probably be a bit fuzzyheaded from the pain. Then I imagine I'd curse the gods as I plunged into the void, though that's more of something that happens to my mind then what happens to my body.

Around the wound the blood would hopefully start coagulating to slow blood loss. If it hit a clothed part of my body the fibers from the clothing would probably start to fester after a while, depending on how long I lived, hopefully none of the debris entered my blood stream.

My body would twitch for a few minutes and my bowels would likely loosen, then my body would start to stiffen. I'd also start to decompose, but I assume you simply meant immediate reactions.

I've also had several long needles jabbed into the gum of my mouth in order to inject numbing agents. They really jab them in there, I think I remember one of the b***ards forcing it through a hard spot.

Generally no reaction, only time there was one was with the H1N1 vaccine, which was just nausea and dizziness for a few minutes.
