Recently I turned my Wii on, and the screen became fuzzy after my Wii turned on (before the wii turned on the screen was fine). I was using a component cable, and thought that might be the problem so I switched to the AV cable it came with and it still has the same problem? I made sure the settings were on 480i after switching to the AV cable and still the same problem. I tried multiple AV ports on my TV, which work fine with my PS2. Has anyone else heard of this problem? Please let me know!

Just to be sure, hook up the component cable to the Wii and recheck that the settings are set as 480i.

If the problem still occurs, try on a different TV, to check if the problem has been resolved.

If the problem is not present on the other TV, then it most likely be a problem with the original TV that you had used before trying on the other TV, so check the settings on the original TV that the problem occurred originally.

If the problem is present on the other TV that you are using as well, then you will need to contact Nintendo support to have your Wii repaired.

Note:
Nintendo will not repair a modified Wii including a Software modded Wii (installed Homebrew channel).

Hint:
If and when your Wii is repaired, if you have been using Wii connect 24, then it would be advised to turn the Standby feature off as this in some cases (but not always), has caused Wii hardware to overheat in standby and damage it.

Thanks for the info. My Wii is always on Wii connect 24 so that could have been what caused the problem =/ I will probably turn it off once it is repaired.
