I have played a few .hack games and liked them. I really thought that since the ps3 have online. You could do a online mmorpg of it and have it sell. I really think it would be awesome to play. It might even sell more ps3 along the way.

I doubt the playstation network would be big enough to support an mmo, the closest thing to an mmorpg was demon souls but it wasnt really an mmo. i'm curious to see how final fantasy 14 would turn out, although the monthly fee might help expand the network. But in that case, that means that all mmo's on the ps3 would require a monthly fee

it all depends on the servers that they connect to play the online games. there are 3 mmorpgs already for psp that work just fine.

That would be pretty sick to see dotHack as a true MMO. And to the people that complain about monthly charges, to keep a game of that magnitude up and successful with continual content coming out, there needs to be a way to fund the man-power necessary to keep it playable longer than a few months.

If somehow they did go across platforms, they really need to devise a way for each system to be able to communicate with each other. Like PS3 gamers, playing with PC gamers, and Wii players playing with Xbox live players. Such a launch would make a ton of money.

The closet MMO on USPS3 would be White Knight Chronicles. I'm sure that PSN can support MMORPGs but the MMO is not good enough to support PSN.

I don't know about the Wii handling a Dot Hack MMO. PS3 and Xbox 360 seem more likely.

For the amount of stuff that would need to be in the game I'd say have it on the pc.
I can't honestly say having the game on ps3 would be that great for PSU failed on it yet 360 still have active servers and such.
If it did come on a home system I would get it on 360, but pc would be my first choice.

I missed playing this game by a few weeks. A friend of mine did get a chance to play it. Still mad at her for not informing me right away when it came out.

saw a little of the anime,
i played 2 of .hack games,
i hope they could make it online
but im sure they most likely wont
i think the psn isn't ready for that kind online
and besides there's the pc

They aren't making anymore .hack games. Also, there being an mmo of .hack has been doubtful from the start.
