I cried a lot T_T That's different, I feel attached to my animals, they are the only company that will be loyal to the end. I've cried with my Rottweiler Kalooah and my bird Charlie. I don't know why it's different with animals though.

AceOfKing 327 cr points Send Message: 23 / M Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 9/27/12 I was a Paramedic I serve in National service for 2 years ,I have seen people commit suicide where that lady jumped from 25th story high building and it drop right in front of me 2 meter away. it was like watermelon if you know what i mean,the blood split out even gotten most of my uniform and my face. I guess I becoming numb from seeing death.

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 9/27/12 a really bad car accident (i dont know if anyone died)........ one girl was thrown outside the car and the driver was bleeding from the head pretty badly. and im guessin ill see some more in the future

dyxlisa 6005 cr points Send Message: Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 9/27/12 My mom was on home hospice for pancreatic cancer and since I was the only person in my family with a medical background, it often fell to me to take care of her. I'll never forget the day she died or all of the events surrounding it, because it's the only time in my life that I can describe as feeling as if my heart was breaking. However, instead of making me desensitized, when I see death now, I feel that I have even more compassion for the patient's friends and family than I previously did, since I remember how much it hurt when my mom died.

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 10/6/12 I've seen a few friends with terminal illnesses but I never witnessed people pass away in front of my eyes. I would be very sad for a long time.

Hardest thing in the world to go through for a momma's boy that I was... But i stayed tough holding her hand the whole time.. Rough days but you have to keep your head up. It gets easier.

I sort of just accept that there's nothing I can do to help but I will allow myself a moment of sadness on behalf of that person. More pity than sadness at this stage but it beats nothing. I think it's more respectful to be somber than to be joking around.
