Teenage Relationships.
Posted 8/20/10
Most girls and boys are on different levels when it comes to teenage relationships. I don't think your average guy is looking for something that will last, while your average love-struck girl probably is. For me, it was the other way around. Either way, the best policy is to be realistic.

There's nothing wrong with teenage relationships. They don't have to last forever, sometimes you learn from the experience and walk away with a good friend.
A lot of people on this forum seem to think dating is much more serious than it is. No, it won't distract you from your studies, it's far from impossible (or hard) to do well in your classes and have a partner.

It's the most beautiful time of your life, and having your love with you is like nothing else you experienced.
You feel loved and cherished like never before ... but if you break up ... then it's pain, a world full of pain

... that's what i have learned from relationships

i think they are a waste of time but you gain experience in dating and you never know..you might find that "one right " person. If things goes wrong then it wasn't meant to be, you'll aways find someone else. That's how i think of it.

I was going through a list of my exes in my head earlier and I thought "Why?"

Lol sucks! But everyone makes mistakes

It annoys me to hell when I see little 11 year olds in relationships I feel like going up to them and saying "You so don't look cool right now. You might think that you do but you're not...seriously."

Teenage relationships usually don't last long.. Don't be too serious about it or else you will be hurt in the end.

the pro is that you can experience what a relationship feels like, and if it ever fails, you would know how to avoid meeting with the same type of person
the con is that it might ruin your grades just as you said
of course, you gotta take things your own pace, and don't rely on EVERYTHING other people says, suit yourself

What a touchy subject

I just realized if I type anything, I would be laughed at here.

Note to self: do NOT type anything down while under the influence... EVER!!!
And don't listen to 80's rock ballads while doing so...I love the 80's!!!

Crap, I'm gonna stop now.. .

My parents aren't that strict~~~ but I made a restriction to myself ~~ unless I finish studying~ I won't date anyone~
well when you get in college~~~ most of the girls are already taken~~ that's the truth~~ and to the place where I live~~ there are a lot of easy going girl~~ dating is like nothing to them~~ and they talk so loud about "ooo he's my eX( ex-boyfriend) , O i broke up with him , he's boring... things like that~~~ they're all experienced~~ well it's true that there are still girl who haven't dated before~~~ but they are often have a quite dark personality such as "I'm no good" "it's really hard" "I have to study harder"~~ well after hearing that... I don't want to disturb for studying~~
I would say ~~ keep connection to the girl you interested in ~ when you're still a teen~ if your parents are strict
