So what do you think of the original english language manga?

Do you like any of them? If so tell which one and post a picture of it :)

I actually like that America is publishing it's own manga but dislike it in a way cuz America will never be Japanese........But there is one that I like. I happen to like Steady Beat by Rivcah It's pretty good

Eh, not really. I mean, I sort of like Kasumi (but it discontinued at 2 vols.) and I would've loved Kaze no Hana if they hadn't ended it they way they did (didn't solve a darn friggin' thing!!). Then the X-men: Misfits was a HUGE let down (the cover was so beautiful looking, too!). The only one that I've actually liked and am excited about is, NightSchool by Svetlana Chmakova. It's well drawn, has good/interesting characters, is amusing, and has a good plot.

And.. you may have noticed a re ac-curing theme ALL of them have to do with supernatural whatnots..lol. Best way to win me over.

Svetlana Chmakova has done a few good ones. Dramacon is a pretty good romantic comedy. She's also doing one called night school that's pictured above. She just hasn't been able to do action scenes well though.

I Forgot Aoi House by Adam Arnold. It's another short one, but pretty funny.

The idea seems... disrespectful. I keep reaching for words like "appropriation" and "unethical".

If a western cartoonist was honestly influenced as an artist by his/her favorite mangaka and was published by a decent comic publisher like Fanagraphics, Dark Horse or Drawn and Quarterly then maybe I wouldn't feel bad about it. In any other case, it would probably be really ugly, cynical pandering. I've never actually read Steady Beat, though.

It's okay, but the only one I've ever read is Peach Fuzz so I can't say much.

But I really like Peach Fuzz, it's so cute. (I have a thing for cute, girly manga.) Too bad it only spanned three volumes...
