I have an interesting problem today... I was set to play some videos on my EVO, so I pulled up m.crunchyroll.com and found something to play. Once it buffered, the video was alright, but the sound was in slow motion and very low. I tried a couple different vids, but the same thing was happening across them all. Any ideas? I'm running the flash 10.1 beta 3 from the android marketplace.

After updating my HTC Desire to Android 2.2 Froyo, I can now sucessfully stream at least SD quality from crunchyroll.com, in fullscreen.
Before I just got a purple bar with a green slider, and nothing would happen.

One thing I have noticed though, is the video seems to stutter for the first 3-10 seconds. Going to fullscreen seems to fix this and after that i can switch between full and normal no problem.

Can you log in to your premium, and stay logged in? After updating, Crunchyroll seems to drop my session when going anywhere else than my account management pages...

Are you using the built-in browser, and what version of Android do you have? 2.1?

I'm using the stock browser on cyanogen mod, 2.2. I've successfully used both mobile and full CR on here to watch a few episodes of various shows before.

The login form for the mobile site doesn't work yet so for now I would recommend using the mobile site while logged off in order for there to be optimal video performance. Unfortunately this means you will be seeing in-video advertisements until the mobile site is officially released.

All I know is that the video would not be smooth but the audio would be if it was an issue with the processing power. So I'm not exactly sure why the Audio would play in slow-motion for you. I have a rooted HTC Evo and I've tried a few different Anrdoid 2.2 roms which all worked fine for me when playing the videos on the mobile site. Currently I'm using the following rom which I'm very happy with:

Though I don't think I've used Cyanogen Mod so it could be an issue specific to that rom.

Well as I don't have playback problems on the normal Crunchyroll.com, I'm not even using the m.Crunchyroll.com.
Any idea why I cannot stay logged in? Cookies and js is enabled, and other sites with 'similar' systems work fine - It seems to be the 'redirect from' URL's which drops the session.

I can go repeatedly go between HTTPS and HTTP pages on the main site (where it redirects) without having the site log me out. You might want to allow your browser to save your password information for Crunchyroll so it automatically logs in.

Though I'm not sure what you would need to do to resolve the root problem since saving your password information should not be necessary. You could try installing a different browser to your device (like Opera Mini, Dolphin or Skyfire), to see if you experience the same problem on it which could help debug the problem.

Opera mini keeps me logged in, but it changes my country to Norway, so obviously it's going through a proxy. No flash in Opera Mini though.

Also experiencing the audio lag problems on my HTC Incredible. The commercials play just fine, but then the audio is super slow on the individual episodes. Almost like all the anime characters are possessed. And while I do appreciate the irony of the Exorcist effect, I was super excited for this to work. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon! This was the first thing I ran and tried to do when my Froyo update went through.
