I must admit that i have not read all the post, and thus i might be reiterating points already made.

Why do people think muslims are bad? That is a very broad question, since most people who dislike muslims might do so for different reasons.
People who say that anyone who does not like muslims is a biggot or a racist, are terribly misguided. Sure there are racist who hate muslims. But they would interestingly enough also hate anyone that does not have the same color as them.
This is not a race issue. There are muslims of every color, and i will not dislike one more than the other based on the color of their skin.
Infact i might dislike someone with roots like myself even more, should they have converted to islam, simply for the reason that they do not have the excuse of having been brought up with this belief.

I don't care if you are black, white, green or blue. If you hold views i find to be against logic or common decency i will dislike you.
Mainstream islam as a whole holds some absolutely horrendous standpoints. Views and laws that i can not, and will not accept as, in any way, civilized or fair.
Their general treatment of women in many countries, their views on homosexuallity, ridiculous blashemy laws they attempt to impose on the entire world. And a long list of more or less horrible things done in the name of islam. And notice that i'm not even touching on terrorism.

They expect, and are given, far more freedoms in the western world. Than a non muslim would be granted in large parts of the islamic world. Yet, in my personal experience, many seem to have nothing but disdain for the non believers who's country they have moved to.
I have had a knife pulled on me several times. Every time, interestingly enough by a muslim, who had no shortage of words to describe what a horrible disgusting infidel i was. I have seen one run up and stab a guy in the back, proclaiming god is great.

Like i mentioned, i'm in no way a racist. But i'm not blind either. If i find a disconcerting amount of horrible people in one particular group, i will most definitely look for their common denominator, and so will a lot of other people.

Now, someone might point out that in many passages the bible has retarded hatespeech and acceptance of terrible things, same as the Koran.
And indeed it has. I'm really not a fan of devout Christians either. Less so, since none of them have ever tried to stab me, or blow me up... yet. But a guy like the pope has surely done plenty of harm to this world.

If you are a perfectly normal human being, who has decided to be a muslim. But ignore all the horrible hateful parts of the koran. (And if you claim they don't exist that would be al taquia. I'm sure you know what i mean.) Anyway, if you have decided to live a life, believing in a god you call allah and a prophet you call muhammad, but not follow the sometimes horrendous bids set forth in the "holy" book. More power too you, should mainstream islam ever reach that point... I will drop my standpoint. Until then i reserve my right to not be thrilled with your religion or the people who blindly follow it.

If you're going to bash someone, at least learn your facts right. I'm not Muslim, but stupidity annoys me...

It's Qur'an , not koran. Also, Al taquia? Are you retarded, mate? I'm hoping you meant Al Qaeda.

Wow, if stupidity annoys you, you must be quite tired of hanging out with yourself all day.
Accepted spellings are; Quran, Kuran, Koran, Qur’ān, Coran or al-Qur’ān.

Al taquia or Al Taqya, Taqiya or Taqija. Is practice, that allows one to lie to the infidels for the sake of islam.

So there you go. Maybe you'll hate yourself less, one day.

A challenge it is , then.

By whom, please? Merriam Webster? Good chaps...

My mistake, then. But those aren't "accepted spellings" , my smart friend. It's taqiyya. Tsk, tsk. Maybe I'm being dumb again. Everybody must be an idiot from your point of view.

Maybe. Maybe you'll get smarter and we'll both be happy.

Merriam Webster;

Ko·ran noun \kə-ˈran, -ˈrän; ˈkȯr-ˌan\
Definition of KORAN
: the book composed of sacred writings accepted by Muslims as revelations made to Muhammad by Allah through the angel Gabriel.

Funny, i thought you would have checked your own suggestion before posting. Guess not.

alternate spelling; taqiya. Again, funny how you attempt to discredit my statements based on my spelling of a translated arabic word. Yet, you had apparently never heard of it. Even going as far as to call me retarded all the while saying i meant a terrorrist organisation. ^^

But by all means, go ahead and keep embarrassing yourself. :)
Atleast i taught you a new word, by forcing you to google it. I guess that is something. ^^

Hmm... so you would trust Merriam Webster more than a Muslim? Is he/she lying about the way how it is spelled properly? Yeah, it definitely must be that. You , sir , are brilliant. You must be American...
I'm sorry, but my frail and simple mind isn't capable of comprehending the sheer complexity of the word al taquia ( well, words, to be precise) so I simply connected to something else. Not everybody is as advanced as you, sir. Also, my unworthy eyes have noticed that you've stopped using "al taquia" and instead moved on to taqiya. Are you showing off your masterful vocabulary because, sir , I am truly impressed. Good job.

I would expect a muslim to write it in letters i would be unable to read. As far as the spelling, i've met a saudi arabian who wrote it in english but used dots and lines i would be unable to locate on my keyboard anyway. So i guess even the muslims themselves spell it in different ways.
And as far as Merriam Webster goes... you were the one who suggested it, not me.
Personally i don't give a hoot whether one chose to spell it Koran, Quaran, or Quaxzqotlcoletel. I don't think anyone was ever in doubt of what i was referring to.
I most certainly did correct my spelling. I don't use spellchecker, so i misspell words all the time. If i catch them, i have no problem correcting them. That would just be silly. ^^

Now this is just not fun at all. You're justifying yourself? You big disappointment.
I didn't suggest shit. You should watch more movies or something, learn how people insult each other over TV. Fuck yeah...
That was not the point. You can't always tell if a retard is retarded or just a fucking idiot. Well you can but the point is that you need to set a proper vibe of seriousness with proper spelling. I'm a foreign grammar Nazi. That's called unique.
Again, not the point. Now you're getting boring...

First of all, I'd say that Islam has split to 3 parts, shia, sunni, and Wahhabi

shia: they Do respect all religions, i am one of them and i know what they really are, they Follow Prophet mohammad and his Holy household, even christians do love the holy household, and about the holy household...they are peaceful people, allah chose them to lead people to the right way, they NEVER EVER make even a single mistake, all sciences about the universe came from them, God gave them a special place in heaven, they are loved by people, and Whenever you have a problem..you can visit their graves, Your prayers there is answered, many miracles happened for them.

Sunni: They are like brothers to shia people, We like them and they like us, the only difference between them and Shia is that they follow prophet mohammad and the people who were with him.

Wahhabi: We are having the biggest problem with them, they say that shia people aren't Muslims, they are the ones who completely hate the holy household, they don't want people to go to the graveyard and read qu'ran on the grave, they say Awful stuff about prophet mohammad and his holy household, they want to kill unbelievers for no reason, i Myself don't believe that they are Muslims.

And if you want to know more, you can search in books, they have better answers than mine.

Biased much? I don't think the majority of Sunnis are accepting of Shia. This is because many of them bring into the religion things that were never in it to begin with, which is dangerous. I don't know too much about them, but sister, where in the history of the Prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h)'s time did you hear of grave worship and whatnot? Also, the righteous companions did not do it. And humans make mistakes! Even prophets made minor errors that Allah reproached them for. No one is greater than the prophets and there's no "holiness" of those people that require us to pray through them to get to Allah. Allah hears us directly. Using intermediaries in such a manner--whether they're dead or alive--is of no benefit and constitutes shirk (polytheism/associating partners with Allah).

Secondly, Islam has many sects, not only 3. And I never knew Wahhabi was a sect of its own. Isn't it one type of Sunni?

Please learn more about the faith, sister. Don't take what you grew up with as the correct way without investigation. Parents can only do so much.

Salam =]
