Okay, i know a bunch a people, myself included, that own blogs, write in them endlessly day and night but never get any visitors, zilch comments, no followers, nothing.

So, i was thinking a forum would be good for people who are interested in anything and everything to link their blogs so other people can look at them

Link your blog and leave a little description so people can skim through them and pick the blogs that interest them...

I'll go first (i have three, rightfully)

Kooks & Catches
-> http://kooksandcatches.blogspot.com
-> Records every minute detail in my life, from inspiration, fashion, music and photography.

Nostalgic Genes
-> http://nostalgicgenes.blogspot.com
-> This is my photography blog, where i post all the pictures i take from my new Digital SLR. I try to make my images artsy and meaningful (reference to i-D magazine for a wider picture)

smileyface~
-> lovecity95.livejournal.com
-> This is more personal and more in the style of a diary. It's about what happens in my everyday life and the widest topic is fashion.

Your turn! Have fun and visit / follow / comment as you will.

I don't understand why people insist on having blogs. No offence. I'll visit but I just don't understand the idea. Same thing with Facebook and Twitter. What's the point? And what can possible be so interesting about ones life? I understand blogs with a subject. Like you have fashion or photography. But all the details of ones life? Really?

Facebook and Twitter are worse then blogs. No one gives a flying fuck what you ate for breakfast or whatever time you decided to go to the bathroom. Attention whoring to the max..

I'm glad you appreciate it and everything, but blogs are mostly for sharing interests. As for blogging about one's life, most people find it relieving or therapeutic to write about worries and problems or whatever even if no one sees it. It's like a diary but it's online, optionally anonymous and free. Also, you never know, but one's life could be the most exciting life a person is leading, so why not blog about it? I know that in my experience, i love reading about other people's lives, not to pry, but to be on the receiving end of that person's thought processes - it gives a more human feel around the internet.
Also, facebook and twitter are social networking sites which have no other main purpose except to allow people to socialize, which facebook and twitter succeed at. People are able to talk to their friends when they can't see each other face-to-face and twitter enables one to share their experiences and share pictures and links easily, which i think is really handy. It's not at all 'attention whoring'. If you're thinking about facebook and twitter being totally unnecessary, then posting forum replies and engaging in crunchyroll for anything except watching videos shouldn't be on your agenda.

Your typing style is the most boring shit I've seen. Couldn't even get past your first sentence. Don't bother promoting your blogs no one's gonna give a shit.

Oh wow.

So engaging on forums shouldn't be on people's agenda if we don't like blogs, Twitter and Facebook? I wonder why I'm here then. o_O
