Only in America would people justify this kind of punishment. In civilized countries (Countries in Europe, Canada, Austrialia...) this kind of behavior is seen as barbaric. Why ? Because we are civilized people !

Why do Americans behave like that ? Is this because of a culture of violence ?

This made me lol.

The father already has a history for violence, the stepson is a rapist/child molester and the mother is retarded especially to bail out a child molester, she sure had compassion for her daughter. I never understand revenge rape, there are so many more efficient ways to torture someone, don't stoop to their level. Can't have expected much from the retard though although both are retards. The stepson was driven from the jail to an old condemned building, really you are not suspicious. They are all equally guilty and should be executed and the traumatized girl should stay with the remainder of her family.

That'd only make it worse you moron.

Trying giving a logical counter argument otherwise I think we just discovered the true moron. Besides, it is too late for being traumatized, nothing is going to top rape and a dangerously unstable family. What you need to be more concerned with is the safety of the girl and what can be salvaged. Of course, you don't straight up tell her that they been executed only that they've been arrested or some other nonsense and 100% tell the media otherwise the entirety of the public would know. Honestly, does no one think on the internet and only hurl irrational insults.

Executing people over rape, don't we have better things to do. Besides, the girl would find out eventually that her older brother and father were killed and that would just cause more conflict. Everyone in that family should be killed except the young girl, really? Trying to give a counter argument to that would be a waste of time. And who's the say the remainder of her family (provided she has any) are any better than her father, mother, and older brother. The safety of the girl is top priority, nothing else matters until then.

We should expand executions since it would be of nothing but benefit all around. The population would decline even if only slightly, no more huge overcrowded prisons supported by taxpayers, and less scum in the world. Tell me, how is that not worthwhile spent time? There isn't anything to be done anyway might as well push forward with doing something rather than nothing. That is the failings of our society, so if nothing is being done anyway, why not make a beneficial suggestion.
There are ways to keep things permanent secrets. The trauma that girl suffered is going to be something she'll have to manage for the rest of her life. If they just disappear or a convincing lie is told then I don't see why she would pursue the topic any further. Even if she had found out it is better that the truth come out after she has had years to cope.

Wasn't it common sense that naturally you check the rest out, geez. Don't take things to literally and at face value. It is only logic if abuse is discovered that you check the family out and find her a suitable guardian. If that is not possible then unfortunately Social Services may end up throwing her into the broken system. This should be common sense analysis and investigations, it isn't something half-assed otherwise the girl's quality of life will be poor indeed.
These days everyone tries to over complicate an issue with a simple solution. All the legal proceedings in order to receive the death penalty and the costs for lethal injections are pathetic means for the death penalty. It is as cheap and simple as requiring but a single bullet in order to dispose of such scum.

^Are you serious now? Generalizing about how people in different countries have opinions?

The 18 year old deserved what was coming to him. You fuck with somebody and karma just deals it out.

Well first off what happened to the stepson is he still free and living with his mom and stepsister?
Second that bastard got off the easy way if I were the dad I would of Beat and Tortured that kid for the rest of his life.
I would only resort to such kind of violence under extreme circumstances rape is not right especially if it's an 8yo little girl.

Personally, it's pretty much Karma in the case of the stepson; it's not exactly the most surprising thing to see coming for him. However, the kind of punishment inflicted by the stepfather is pretty out there, and there are obvious repercussions for that. There are other ways to deal with this legally.

But justice was served.

I think the step father is the one who wronged the 18 year old the most. he should have just let the authorities handle it and/or move far away. i can't see how justice has been served. Fuck karma, and fuck the dysfunctional families that are not treated correctly.

And i know it must have been a horrible experience for the little girl, but she didn't get beat up with a baseball bat and raped with a metal tool.

Because innocent eight year old girls get over anal rape by their older brothers easily and mature sex offenders would be traumatized for life after getting a metal tool up their ass?

Hm, seeing this again makes me wonder how is the little girl holding up today. It's been 2 years, I hope she's okay. Since her idiot mother bailed the son out of prison, I really hoped he didn't repeat his actions again towards his sister. .__.

I agree that what he did was horribly wrong, and his actions could in no way be justified. But yes, she is likely to come through this untraumatized, if she is treated correctly that is (a good shrink ofc + supportive family). The boy on the other hand probably has a long LONG way until he can face his family or society again. and the metal action with the step father will haunt him for the rest of his life as well. Not deserved i think, he's already lost it all when he raped his little step sister.

No, justice was not served. Rape is rape...and it IS a crime, whether it was done with a bodily part (Penis or hand) or a foreign object (in this case, the "wrench like" object) and a rapist should have to spend one year of his life for each year of the victims' life. I.E., the boy was 18, so the stepfather should spend 18 years in jail. BUT...as the teenage boy raped an 8 year-old, HE should be in jail for at least 8 years....but this is just MY opinion.

i bullet to the face would've been a bit more effective for revenge, but rape works too i guess

If anyone did that to my daughter (if I had one) or my nieces, he would spend days dying and the body would never be found. "Oops, looks like he skipped town once his bail was paid." would be all the needed excuse for his disappearance.

The kid was very fortunate only to be beaten and sodomized with a wrench.
