Something not too different happened in Norway or Sweden a few years ago, a teenage male raped his girlfriend's best friend (Or something similar), a few days later five girls (Including his girl and the victim) tied him up and anally raped him with a wooden stick. Not sure what happened after that..
Personally I consider the act of rape to be one of the lowest levels any human can reach, to destroy someone in such a way only for a moment of twisted "pleasure" or a false sense of control.. Rapists are pathetic.

If you'd spent some more time reading it through you might have been able to see that I said;

I assumed my last 2 lines made it clear that I have an very low tolerance towards rapists (Though I admit I should have simply added that in the first place and I apologize for not doing so). But if you had chosen to think it through before leaving a useless comment you might have been able to conclude that I believe that the -most likely life-ruining damage done to the girl could never be "matched" by any length of jail time the boy might have received. (Average time spendt in jail is around 5-7 years, which in average makes for roughly 50% of the actual time given).
But in order to clarify my original post a bit better:
I have an strong resentment towards rapists due to personally knowing people who has been raped and seeing the pain they go through years after it actually happened while in most cases the offender has gotten off easy due to "lack of evidence". For example; My mother was raped at the age of 17, in the years following the rape she tried to take her life repeatedly, she is now 54 and still experiences the occasional nightmares, though admittedly she has been able to live normally for some time due to extensive help. The offender spendt around 1 year in jail and made it out based on good behaviour and an psychologist saying that he had been fully rehabilitated".
Now I don't mind people disagreeing with me I expect that many will, but at the very least leave some form of explanation or clarification as to why, you could also have simply asked what I meant by what I wrote. Stupid comments like the one you left accomplish nothing with the exception of making you look like an ignorant asshole, which for some reason I don't think you really are. If you had bothered to give a proper reply then I wouldn't have had any problems respecting your opinion, which you in your chosen response failed to do regarding mine.
And to finally; My comment is aimed purely at your reply to my earlier post, not you as a person. I hope this is something both you and others will be able to see, if not then I apologize.
To other users of this forum; I apologize if anything I wrote offended or bothered you in any way, it was not my intention to do either. (And yes, I'm aware that this is just an random thread on the forum of a anime/drama streaming website).
Also I would like to add that I'm far from an expert on law, the information on average jail time/sentencing was found through google. If any of it is wrong, please don't hesitate to correct me.
