EDIT:
one positive side to fasting is, when we DO get to eat we have a HUGE meal. Its like having food for 20 guests

How long do you have to fast is anyway??

muslim isn't really much of a religion, it is actually borderline to fake from my point of view unlike Christianity since Christianity has exorcists and stuff who force out evil spirits like on paranormal state which has to be real or it wouldn't work

OMG dude, join da Muslim club and chill! We have 'exorcisms' too and believe in jinns :D

the 12 day of fasting you make this type of pot where its sugary and sweet and pass it down to everyone you know. And so you dont travel alot you usually invite everyone to your house that way it can be easier to pass on the sugar pot, and they can pass THEIR sugar pot to you. So we basically have a feast again but this time with everyone.
Is there any other time that you get to have a huge feast or is only after fasting?

There is but, there's newroz. (our new year). But i dont think all muslims celebrate that. Honestly you're asking the wrong muslim. I'm Alevi its a type of muslim. You should ask these questions to the more core muslims. I'm not even into religion (>____<); sorry if im not much help..

That's okay at least I got my answer. Thanks for answering them =D I learned something today thanks to you even though it wasn't that much.

I'm just gonna pop in here to answer your question. We fast 1 month every year from dawn until dusk. It's to teach patience and know what it feels like for the ones that have no food. After the fasting we celebrate Eid, and usually that day people make lots of food and sweets (like a feast). In Islam we have two celebrations, Eid Al-adha and Eid alfitr

well since im turkish mostly turkish/green/albanian/armanian mostly middle eastern food. Spicey foods, meat, and then chicken and traditional stuff like salma or dolma. and for desert we have stuff like baklava or turkish delight..ehh..i dunno.. almost everything we dish up i guess.

How do you even last without going for food for a long time. I don't think i would last a day without food
